#21 Logan Reed Logan Reed 6'1" | SG Godley | 2024 State TX (Up from #42)
Reed can score, she’s long, she’s athletic and her mid to long-range is something that will attract many college coaches because she’s just shy of “the magic number” which is 6’0 and for those who don’t pay attention, college coaches love big guards that can shoot yet she also scores off the dribble and finishes with either hand, let me not omit the fact that she also finishes strongly after contact
#22 Madison Hurta Madison Hurta 5'8" | PG San Marcos Homeschool | 2024 State TX (Up from #48)
Hurta had already shown me she could shoot while being defended and a hand in her face yet she recently showed how smoothly she creates her shot, while under pressure as well as delivering the “big shot” under pressure. I love her upside because she does so many things good that will blossom, but the main thing is she plays “within herself” makes good decisions, and understands how to “score in the flow”
#23 Tatyanna Bailey Tatyanna Bailey 5'8" | CG Hendrickson | 2024 State TX (Up from #54)
Bailey is on the verge of a breakthrough, I can see it and I can feel it because she already possesses a “college-ready frame” and when you add her pluses, the sum is just over the top because she attacks the basket strongly and finishes the same way but she also can knock down shots and when she understands certain things as she can actually take over a game offensively because of her versatility. She also rebounds well on both ends, can match up defensively, and play the passing; ane which leads to baskets because she can handle the ball in the open court
#24 Ashna Tambe Ashna Tambe 5'7" | CG Hockaday | 2024 State TX (Up from #27)
Tambe moved to a team playing more competitive opposition yet her skill-set had already stood out so I knew she would be successful because she “thinks” the game and when you’re a “heady” player with solid skills, you’re ahead of the game but she does certain things instinctively which is great and that adds to what she brings to the table so running a team, controlling the tempo and directing traffic is easy, so is how she sets up defenders to score with the solid jumper or take off the dribble but watching her attacks and dish or throwing touchdowns the length of the court, she still has great upside
#31 Averi Aaron Averi Aaron 6'1" | SF Boerne High | 2024 State TX (Up from #55)
Aaron keeps showing me different sides of her game as I hashtagged #BEASTLIKE and mentioned how she did things instinctively at the 250 Expo and yet here we are as I’m about ready to drop LIKE off the hashtag. She goes after the ball off the rim, that’s always a great sign and she’s finishing not only with players hanging on her but with either hand yet her defense, in and outside of the paint has gotten even better, and when you factor in her size, her grade and her upside, expect her to keep moving up
