2021
Taylor Moravick-5’10 PF (Breeze 2021 Elite) Shallowater
Moravick understands and does a couple of very important things, she rebounds, this includes against taller players on both ends of the floor, she finishes, this includes putbacks after the offensive rebound, against taller players, and she consistently knocks down the midrange
Tynli Harris-5’8 SG/SF (Breeze 2021 Elite) Shallowater
Harris does a very good job creating her shot and with her extended range, this keeps the defender guessing because she can also put the ball on the floor and attack the basket, she finishes strongly, after contact included yet she also sees the floor well
Airron Gaydon-5’9 SG/SF (Breeze 2021 Elite) Frenship
Gaydon is one of those ” you better guard her when she steps in the gym” types of players and over the years, some of her three pointers seem to like to have dropped from that (806) area code yet she has nice, quick release, showed she could catch and shoot it numerous times as well as mix it up and attack the rim
2022
Cierra Vidrine-5’6 CG (CTX Kanes Elite 2022 Green)
Vidrine uses her athleticism well, she reads the defense and she applies pressure while she’s defending, this includes “on the ball” in a hunnid, meaning baseline to baseline but she also showed good timing and attacked the basket nicely
Keniah Williams-6’3 C (Journey Black) Georgetown HS
Williams is “long and athletic” that’s the base, but she’s also 75 inches, that’s the treble and I know how it’s spelled, just wanted to get your attention like she grabbed mine because she still has upside yet she does a good job finishing and had some nice moves around the rim
Nyla Inman-6’0 PF (Texas Elite ETX Spurs) Tyler Legacy HS
Inman stands at “the magic number” which many college coaches have contacted me about over my “over a decade” of doing this, even after enrollment yet she’s also “long and athletic” and showed versatility on both ends by defending and playing the passing lane as well as finishing
Katlyn Jasper-5’3 PG (Texas Elite ETX Spurs) Tyler Legacy HS
Jasper has a deceptive first step to go with solid ballhandling and watching her attack to score or hit teammates off the dribble was good yet she also understands how to control the tempo
Kori Fenner-5’8 SG (Houston Lady FAM Elite) Atascocita HS
Fenner keeps showing me different sides to her game, that’s a good thing and yeah I know she can score but she brought plenty of heat defensively that I broke a sweat and I definitely enjoyed her timing, this includes playing the passing lane
Naomi Aigberadion-6’2 C (Houston Lady FAM Elite) Cy Fair HS
Aigberadion just continues to impress me with her DESIRE and seeing her battle over and over for rebounds, on both ends of the court is just something you can’t teach
Alima Diop-5’10 PF (Houston Skyrise Stars) College Park HS
Diop is “long and athletic” and her wingspan puts her over “the magic number” yet her timing was magical as she blocked shots and rebounded over taller players, which goes back to the “timing
2023
Aniyah Lewis-5’10 SG/SF (Houston Skyrise Stars) Cypress Lakes HS
Lewis battles for everything off the rim and her numerous putbacks were nice so establishing that she rebounds on both ends, what else, well she attacks and finishes multiple ways and showed she could drop the long ball
2026
Kamora Pruitt-5’11 SG (Lady Jets Lewis)
Pruitt rhymes with “just do it” no matter what PLATFORM she performs on and let me drop #BCSLock again because she’s long and athletic, plays the passing lane, attacks from everywhere, finishes acrobatically, and drops the three as I hear SWOOSH
Jacy Albi-5’10 SG/SF (Lady Jets Lewis)
Albi is strong, long, and athletic but she’s showing versatility because yeah she rebounds and punishes on the inside but she can handle the ball and see the floor and by handling the ball, she attacks and finishes after contact
Rieyan Desouze-5’6 PG (Lady Jets Lewis)
Desouze caught my eye when she was in the 3rd grade and I haven’t stopped looking because her ability to run the 1 at a young age showing poise and handling the heat told me what was coming and yeah she has been locked in at #D1 for quite some time, her desire to take her game to another level never stops
