5-9 CG [player_tooltip player_id="195843" first="Sydney" last="Bolden"] – Loganville
With a robust 2021 class out the door, Loganville is now [player_tooltip player_id="195843" first="Sydney" last="Bolden"]’s team. The versatile guard has looked good this offseason as the team’s primary ball handler and scorer. Bolden is at her best when she’s aggressive, attacking the defense off the dribble which in turn opens up her outside shot. Sydney is a proven playmaker and a dynamic defender.
5-9 SG [player_tooltip player_id="269485" first="Nekaya" last="Williams"] – Brookwood
The motor of [player_tooltip player_id="269485" first="Nekaya" last="Williams"] paired with her great athleticism has put her in the discussion as one of the best guards in Georgia that may not get the headlines she deserves. Williams makes plays all over the floor on both sides of the ball. Williams jumps passes lanes and can defend multiple spots with her quickness. Offensively, she excels at slashing to the hoop and has an improved jump shot.
5-8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="148868" first="Deshona" last="Gaither"] – Jefferson
[player_tooltip player_id="148868" first="Deshona" last="Gaither"] is a tenacious defender and another terrific athlete. Gaither plays sideline to sideline with great lateral quickness. She anticipates passes and can swipe away steals when defending on-ball. Gaither still is primarily a slasher on offense but her outside shot has been improving.
5-10 PF [player_tooltip player_id="153494" first="Amaya" last="Moss"] – Kell
Before an injury recently sidelined her, [player_tooltip player_id="153494" first="Amaya" last="Moss"] was one of the most productive forwards in the state this offseason. You can pencil in the swift forward for double-doubles almost every game. Moss has an uncanny nose for the ball. She’s quick to every rebound and gobbles up steals in the press. Moss can knockdown the three-point shot and has an elite first step on her drives.
5-3 PG [player_tooltip player_id="288510" first="Chesnee" last="Freeman"] – White County
I love the energy and toughness [player_tooltip player_id="288510" first="Chesnee" last="Freeman"] provides. She gets after it defensively and can force turnovers as an on-ball defender. Freeman is good in transition, able to finish with either hand. She’s a smart guard that is comfortable setting up teammates but can also call her own number and score from deep.
6-1 C [player_tooltip player_id="302947" first="Maddie" last="Erickson"] – North Forsyth
A rugged defensive-minded post presence, [player_tooltip player_id="302947" first="Maddie" last="Erickson"] is a tough-nosed rebounder and a sturdy rim protector. Erickson has shown growth in her back to the basket game and is starting to develop confidence scoring inside.
