At a long and mobile 6-foot-3, Adaeze Ezigbo will surely catch some schools’ eyes. She isn’t a finished product quite yet, but Ezigbo has tools to work with. She’s a solid rebounder that earns putbacks. Adaeze is developing a hook shot inside and has improving footwork with her back to the basket.
2024 5-10 F Aliyah Shaffer – Trinity Christian
Aliyah Shaffer brings toughness and activity to the Trinity Christian interior. She’s an aggressive rebounder that eliminates second chance opportunities for opponents. Aliyah is a reliable garbage guy that’s impact is felt deeper than the box score can show.
2024 5-9 CG Samantha Ambroselli – Centennial
An athletic guard that can play either on or off the ball, Samantha Ambroselli was at her best when getting to the rim. She’s quick in transition and can be shifty when attacking downhill. Ambroselli plays with an infectious energy on both ends of the floor and holds value as a perimeter defender.
2022 5-5 SG Laney Brock – North Paulding
Instant offense. That is what Laney Brock is off the bench. She can get hot in the blink of an eye with her three-point shot. She canned 4 threes in a win over North Gwinnett. Brock is a reliable floor spacer that also has the strength to get physical on defense.
2023 5-7 PG Janaya Evans – North Paulding
Janaya Evans is a fast-twitch athlete that shifts directions quickly. She helps set the tone in the press with her ability to move sideline to sideline and pick off passes. Evans can beat her man off the dribble and get in the lane where she causes the defense to collapse. Janaya is tough to slow down in transition.
