Lake City High School (ID)
This group was probably the top team in the camp, finishing with an undefeated record and winning just about all their games by double digits. I was only able to see them a couple times, but very familiar with the team. There is so much parity and different standouts by the game, but two in particular played well in the games I watched.
2022 5’9 G Kendall Pickford is a hard working player with a smooth outside jumper that doesn’t require much space to get off. She made some nice drive and kicks, creating opportunities for her teammates to get open looks. A solid college prospect still available in the 2022 class.
2024 5’7 G Sophia Zufelt played well in spurts against Eisenhower High School knocking down a few threes that helped Lake City pull away in the second half. Also a high IQ prospect that understands how to play the game.
There are multiple other college prospects in this group that colleges from D1 down to Juco should be following.
Mead High School
A handful of prospects worth mentioning. Mead should be a contender for a state tournament run in the 2021-2022 season.
2022 5’10 Alicia Suggs Alicia Suggs 5'10" | SF Mead | 2022 State WA is a strong athlete that showed good competitiveness and enjoyment for the game. She is an x-factor for this team and her good energy and ability to play multiple positions are important to this team.
2024 5’7 G Taryn Hart was a new player to me. She is fast and a deceptive athlete for sure. Hart can make plays in the open court and she is a sleeper in the 2024 class that has a chance to make a name for herself in the Greater Spokane League (GSL) next season.
2022 5’7 G Olivia Moore Olivia Moore 5'7" | CG Mead | 2022 State WA was solid and showed some improved decision making and ability to make some plays for her teammates. Moore is a confidence player that will be able to help a program at the next level.
