2022
Emelie Ezukanma-6’2 P (Fort Worth Lady Hornets) Timber Creek HS
Ezukanma is physical on both ends, she’s a good rebounder and finisher yet I also loved her agility as she moves well on defnse
Alyssa White-5’11 PF (Houston Lady FAM Elite 17U) Atascocita HS
White has steadily improved each season and is now sending messages that she’s more than just a defender and rebounder. She showed nice hands and footwork and finished strongly, this includes after contact
Brandolyn Freeman-6’2 C (Houston Queens Elite 17U) Dickinson HS
Freeman is long and athletic and strong yet graceful, she shows that on her shot-blocking as well as finishing as she glides to the basket yet she also rebounds on both ends of the court
Kendall Brown 5’7 CG (Houston United 2022 Gold) Dobie HS
Brown has a nice first step the get-by defenders and finish but she also has a solid jumper and drops it with a hand in her face. She sees the floor, handles the ball under pressure, and plays the passing lane
Amanda Crowninshield-5’3 PG (Houston United 2022 Gold) Bridgeland HS
Crowinshield name says it all as I CROWN her as one of the top TRUE point guards in her Texas class as she’s heady, control tempo, and handles pressure with ease as she SHIELDS ball from defenders, and she can score
Jasmyn Jackson-6’2 PF (Houston United 2022 Gold) Cy Creek HS
Jackosn is long, athletic, and has UPS but she’s under control and her finishes are sometimes highlight-worthy yet her rebounding is just one of her strengths because she can grab it and go C2C, coast to coast, with ease
Sarah Harthon (Lady Thunder King)
Harthon is another heady point guard, she plays within herself and distributes the ball well, at the right time to the right player yet she can also drop the mid to long-range
Angelique Morgan Angelique Morgan 5'8" | CG Harker Heights | 2022 State TX -5’7 G (Pro Skills Austin) Harker Heights HS
Morgan is one of the most explosive guards in her class, see takes defenders off the dribble with either hand, finishes with either hand, and her pull-up jumper, or stop and pop in transition is hard to deal with, mid to long-range
Makayla Collins-5’11 F (Phoenix Gold) Cedar Park HS
Collins was solid every time I caught her. She understands positioning and applies it out rebound taller players as well as finish over them
Lyniaya Johnson (Team Arlington Swoosh)
Johnson uses her athleticism well, solid “on the ball” defense, and attacked the rim well for finishes
Synia Dewater (Team Arlington Swoosh)
Dewater is lo athletic, has good timing as she blocked some shots yet she also created her jumper under pressure
Kalika Gross (Waco Lady Panthers)
Gross uses her size and body well, she moves her feet on defense to step outside the paint yet she also finishes after contact
Azaia Oliver (Waco Lady Panthers)
Oliver is athletic with a deceptive first step and she got by defenders with ease to finish, sometimes acrobatically, many times after contact plus she defends
2023
Daniya Brooks-5’10 F (Pro Skills Austin) Shoemaker HS
Brooks uses her body well to rebound on both ends as well as finish after contact, good upside
Charis Kelly-5’11 F (Phoenix Gold) Founders HS
Kelly was solid on both ends yet she rebounds with authority and finishes the same way, good upside
Annalia Cuellar-5’5 G (SA Lady Hoops Gold) Stevens HS
Cuellar can fill it up in the flow, that’s not easy but she understands how to create her shot and can drop it, mid to long-range yet she also can attack ad finish plus she sees the floor and plays solid defense
Skye Stephens (SA lady Hoops Gold) Warren HS
Stephens always had SWB, the speed with the ball, yet her being able to control the ball going full speed under pressure has not been unnoticed as she sees the floor, applies pressure defense and her jumper is solid
Mia Jiminez-5’5 G (SA Lady Hoops Gold) Incarnate Word HS
Jiminez has hit plenty of clutch shots in front of me, she relishes the challenge and delivers mid to long-range yet her knack for playing the passing lane makes things happen as well
