Prep Girls Hoops won’t officially rank these girls until after their freshmen season. Who are some ladies you should start to follow moving forward ? Lets take a look at some POST players in NO certain order at all.
** Keep in mind these are just some players in the 2025 Palmetto State Class.
Tamia Watkins Tamia Watkins 6'2" | PF Andrew Jackson | 2025 State SC – Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw) (pictured on front)
Watkins a left-handed forward has been a fixture on the Lady Volunteer roster since her 7th grade season. Watkins a very versatile forward runs down rebounds on both ends of the floor along with piling up points on put-backs.
Karlee Phelps Karlee Phelps 6'2" | C Gray Collegiate | 2025 State SC – White Knoll HS (Lexington)
Phelps showed some good flashes at times this summer for the SC76ers 15U Premier squad. Phelps can play with her back to the basket while carving out space down low on the block.
Breah Franks Breah Franks 6'3" | C J.L. Mann | 2025 State SC – JL Mann HS
Franks will play for the Lady Patriots this coming school year after playing last season at Mauldin HS. Franks a left-handed post ran with FBC Carolina Elite on the Grassroots Circuit.
Kadence Walker-Lee Kadence Walker-Lee 5'10" | PF Gray Collegiate | 2025 State SC – Gray Collegiate
Kadence will have a new address this season after leaving Irmo HS. Walker-Lee is the future of the Lady War Eagles program and new Head Coach Ashley Bruner.
Zanariah Yarborough Zanariah Yarborough 6'0" | PF Legacy Early College | 2025 State SC – Fairfield Central HS (Winnsboro)
Yarborough saw plenty of action for the Lady Griffins last season while patrolling the paint as a rebounder and shot blocker.
Imani Sterling Imani Sterling 5'9" | PF Rock Hill | 2025 State SC – Rock Hill HS
Sterling made a strong impression on Prep Girls Hoops this past June at the Francis Marion University Team Camp. Sterling played very mature in the paint and wasn’t afraid to draw contact while boxing out.
Destinee Vereen Destinee Vereen 5'7" | PF North Myrtle Beach | 2025 SC – North Myrtle Beach HS
Vereen saw good minutes last season for the Lady Chiefs on the way to a runner-up finish to Westside HS (Anderson). Destinee really likes to play the game on contact and isn’t afraid to use up all of her 5 fouls in a game.
