I’ve touched on some of these players before yet I love progression as well as what players do in certain situations which is why loaded stats, deep fake videos or efficiency reports, as well as what others think, especially the ones that left my daughter off of the MDAA squad, it’s all about showing me on the court and this is why I hashtag #ThereIsNoMe because I don’t play games, on and off the court so remember, it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against as well as "who sees you doing it"

June Chatterley-5’8 SG (TX Platinum 17U Bates) Aubrey HS
Chatterley is one of many talented players on this squad and several are interchangeable as far as mirroring each other on the court yet I love how she goes hard, no matter if the squad is up or down big, I love her ability to knock the midrange down, with a hand in her face and I also love, drumroll please, her ability and desire to play the passing lane
Anissa Mata-5’4 SG ( SA Lady Hoops Platinum) Johnson HS
Mata is smooth on the court, on both ends and one of the main reasons is she plays within herself yet she also scores well in the flow but let me say this, she creates her shot so well and understands how to get to her spot and drop it, which is mid to long-range from various angles but she attacks and finishes strongly, sees the floor and defends we;;
Nevea Rollins-5’9 C ( SA Lady Hoops Platinum) Brackenridge HS
Rollins is one of those players that do things that may not show up on a score or stat sheet yet are vital to a team’s success. I’m always happy to see her just battling, either for loose balls off the rim are on the floor yet she understands how to set picks which gives teammates open looks, she defends strongly inside the paint and she finishes, after contact
Madison Glenn-5’6 SG (SA Hoops Elite Gold-McCleary) Brandeis HS
Glenn has shown me she can shoot the ball yet her ability to knock the big shot down in the clutch was on full display as she hit some deep ones to help make a come back as well as go ahead buckets but she also picks her opportunities, doesn’t force her shots and with solid form and a quick release, she was money
Bethany Carlin-6’4 C (SA Hoops Elite Gold-McCleary) Brandeis HS
Carlin may not be elated to George yet she is getting the last laugh because at 76 inches, she falls into that very long and athletic category, and watching her alter, deflect and block shots was nice, so was her scoring around the basket as well as stepping out of the paint to defend yet she also did a good job playing the passing lane and handling the ball in the open court
Tia Johnson-5’10 PF (Team Lex Breeze 2022) Brownfield HS
Johnson and her sister [player_tooltip player_id="265542" first="Deja" last="Johnson"] caught my eye along with [player_tooltip player_id="265541" first="Gabbie" last="Fields"] winning the UIL 3A State Championship back in March so it was good to see Tia working the Hi-Lo to perfection with Deja, well it was also good to see her working in the paint for rebounds, on both ends and finishing strongly after contact
