This Summer bought some amazing talent to the forefront. Whether we were in Louisville or Atlanta, I had a front row seat from the coaches box. These athletes showed why they are considered some of the top guards in the state. They bought it from start to finish. Here are a few of the athletes that stood out this summer.

Dunning is a show stopper. Knows how to create her own shots off the dribble. Had the opportunity to coach her at the WER Showcase where she led the team in scoring. Has the ability to score at all 3 levels. Plays both ends of the floor hard. Great ball handling ability and quickness which allows her to get by her opponents in the open court.
Kyshonna Brown I 5’10 I SG I 2022 I Team Elite Peake I T.W. Josey
Long athletic guard that can do it all. Uses her size to score inside/out. Hustles hard to the loose balls on defense. Runs the floor well in transition. Has a nice pull up jump shot. Creates defensive matchups for her opponents. Gets in position to score each time down the floor.

Morris knowledge of the game is far behind her graduation year. She sees the floor well and can knock down the 3 ball consistently. Pressures up well on defense and knows how to find her teammates in transition. Attacks the basket strong and finishes well through contact. A player to watch this upcoming high school season.

Allen can take over a game. If she gets her hands on the ball she can score at will. Sees the floor well and knows how to create her own shot. Great ball handling and IQ which leads to easy baskets. Has the length which allows her to shoot over her opponents. Always moving without the basketball. Young player on college coaches radars.

High motor floor general. Bowman sees the floor well in transition and knows how to attack the basket hard in transition. Makes pinpoint passes with her great court vision. Has the ability to shoot the 3 ball consistently. Can guard 94ft on defense.

Dudley is the energy bus for her team. Plays hard every play. Uses her length to get out in the passing lanes which lead to easy baskets in transition. Attacks the basket well in the open floor. Uses her height to post up the smaller guards on offense. High IQ player.
