U-Mary Team Camp Standouts (Part 3)

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="100462" first="Ariel" last="Frazier"]</strong> - Minot - (5’6/SG/2023) - Ariel showed a lot of speed and endurance during the 3 games at the camp. She showed she could defend positions 1-3 and has a knack for recovering lose balls with her quick speed. Offensively she looks to rip and go past her defenders and finish at the hoop or dish to a teammate. Ariel with a more consistent jump shot could be a good asset for the Magicians this winter.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="211407" first="Kendyl" last="Hager"]</strong> - Rugby - (5’8/SF/2023) - Hager has the potential to turn into a real scoring threat for the Panthers this year. She has the size and athleticism that makes her tough to guard on the perimeter for smaller guards. She has the speed to deal with taller defenders within the post showing that she is comfortable going straight up with a soft right-handed hook. Hager even showed she has a solid-looking jump shot hitting 3, 3 pointers in their first game vs Kenmare.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="242581" first="Aliya" last="Schock"]</strong> - Shiloh Christian - (5’9/SG/2023) - Schock is a pest of a defender and really digs into guards to snatch the ball. She has really good length and speed that helps her stay in front of the opposition and has shown she can run a 1 man fast break in the open court.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="316034" first="Christena" last="Walker"]</strong> - Ellendale - (6’1/PF-C/2023) - Walker has a lot of size and length to work with. She was one of, if not the tallest athlete at the U-Mary Camp. Walker displayed a lot of versatility from maneuvering within the post with a sweet looking up and under move to consistently hitting the mid-range shot. If Walker can consistently do that during the 21-22 years she could be a show stopper of an athlete to watch.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="219714" first="Avery" last="Lunde"]</strong> - Minot - (5’8/SG/2024) - Lunde was a phenomenal athlete to watch. Her ability to score and see the floor is unmatched by anyone within her class. She stood out most by her body control and ability to make tight passes in traffic. In this scout’s biased opinion I believe Lunde could’ve gone for 20 in almost every game showing great athleticism and an amazing-looking jump shot hitting from anywhere she chose on the court.
