Raylee Cave-5’10 SF
Cave has just shown me something different almost every event I’ve caught her in over the club season but one thing remained constant, she plays within herself and doesn’t force anything, and at the event, her ability to finish around the basket with either hand was nice, so was her facing the basket and dropping the midrange but her rebounding and defense were equally impressive
Lili Garcia-5’5 G
Gracia saw the floor through a microscope, she made some hard passes with ease, in traffic as well as while being defended and off the dribble was especially nice because she either dished or scored. She also grabbed some rebounds and handled the ball under pressure to hit teammates on the money
Katlyn Jasper-5’4 G
Jasper just goes hard off the dribble, she understands how to make the defender commit with numerous fakes yet she also has an explosive first step which created issues in both the half and whole court but she also showed she could elevate and drop the pull-up in the set or in the stop and pop
Renee Ramoni-6’0 PF
Ramoni just blew me away with her physicality on both ends of the court, she can give it and she can take it and the pressure defense created turnovers while finishing with contact off of putbacks, yes she rebounded on both ends, as well as off the dribble were nice, well so was her diving after loose balls
Ashlee Seymore-6’1 PF
Seymore has been in front of me numerous times this season so I can see more of her progression, #ThereIsNoMe and one of the dumbest sayings they used to throw around was “you can’t teach size” yet when you have size, power, and a nice skill set, that will get you over the top, so will rebounding and finishing but her BLOCK OF THE DAY almost put a hole in the wall. figuratively speaking
Lauren Williams-5’4 G
Williams is athletic and under control, that’s a good thing and she’s also under control with the ball under pressure, that’s even better yet her desire to defend just stood out all camp, she was on the ball baseline to baseline and wouldn’t ease up and in the set, she fought through screens and played the passing lane
Khalayah Willis-5’8 PG
Willis knew “what she was talking about” as she was vocal on the court, again #ThereIsNoMe, GOOGLE IT, so she handled the ball nicely under pressure, saw the floor, and hit teammates with blazing passes yet she also showed she could score either off the dribble or with a nice jumper
Mariah Robinson-5’7 G
Robinson played many parts and her ability to adapt to various roles certainly stood out as she rebounded strongly on both ends, finished the same way, even after putbacks but she also created her shot well and knocked it down from the outside several times, the defense was nice too
