Saniya Burks Saniya Burks 5'7" | CG State TX -5’6 G
Burks upside is scary, she’s in the Top 100 and ready for an upgrade because she does things on the court effortlessly and instinctively and if you’re a novice at this, you won’t get yet I’m no novice, and watching her give it, as in, to the defender, is something like work of art. She changes directions in the open court and she switches the ball from hand to hand almost blazingly but that jumper, mid to long-range, is not to be played with because she can get on a roll and drop double digits in a couple of minutes. Her body control and ability to finish after contact also makes her a threat off the dribble
Allison Holman-5’8 G
Holman mixes up her offensive game nicely, she showed that in the 1 on 1 drill by being crafty and understanding how to keep the defender guessing. That helps when you have a nice first step and you can attack with either hand, well it also helps when you can finish with either hand so that translated over to the 5 on 5 games and when the bright lights came on, she found ways to be relevant, even without scoring because she sets picks, she understood how to trap, she switched well on defense and she did a good job at positioning under the basket to rebound. Oh yeah, she can shoot it
Taler Thornton Taler Thornton 5'9" | CG Bryan | 2024 State TX – 5’8 G
I don’t if Thornton’s middle initial starts with an N but her game is DYNOMITE, for some reason I think I’ve used that as well as her wearing #51 the first time I saw her playing for TWELVE, a team out of Bryan/College Station and that was my daughter’s number at Texas A&M, I have definitely said that but wearing the number didn’t keep my attention, her game did and I knew she would be “one of the girls” and being in the Top 100 solidifies it, at least with me but her poise on the court, she had that then, means you want her with the ball down the stretch because she can deliver either hitting the big shot, mid to long is solid, off the dribble, yeah, and one waiting to happen, or seeing the floor, she handles the ball very well and her court vision is good
Kennedi Alexander Kennedi Alexander 6'0" | PF Channelview | 2024 State TX -6’0 PF
Alexander was added to the Top 100 on the last update, she simply went off, and after finding out she and her twin sister were those younger sisters I took a picture of with older sister Taylor in 2016 so being long and athletic as well as sometimes acrobatic is really nice as she plays the passing lane plus she can handle the ball so that’s a basket going the other way. She scored off the dribble, on putbacks, with moves around the basket, and a nice pull-up jumper, she rebounded and did a good job of playing “on the ball” defense baseline to baseline
Brooklyn Alexander-5’11 PF
Alexander showed me a totally different side of her and asked her how did she think she performed, she said “I did okay” and told her “baby you did more than OKAY” and I don’t fabricate nor hallucinate, I just keep it straight, remember #ThereIsNoMe and there are few of what she showed me she’s on the verge of becoming. Remember my hashtags mean something so #BATTLE means she goes after the ball of the rim, relentlessly and she showed she can be one of those “you won’t outwork me” types of players. She finished with players literally hanging on her and the defense was pretty impressive
