There are many players on my watchlist who just missed the cut of the ’23 top 150. With a lot of competitive fall basketball to be played, I do not doubt that these players below will find their names on the list by the next ranking update. [player_tooltip player_id="266809" first="Davita" last="Honig"] - Nashoba/CMF - 5’8’’ - CG Honig is always in the gym working on her game. Over the summer, I always saw her getting shots up and working on her ball handling. Her work has translated into the games as Honig has developed into a reliable three-point shooter who does not hesitate to let it fly. Honig is a tough and strong guard with the athleticism and size at the combo guard position to be a factor on defense and the glass. [player_tooltip player_id="184031" first="Mia" last="Molinari"] - Millis/O-Zone - 5’9’’ - PF It is hard to find a player who battles harder on the boards than Molinari. Whether it be on offense or defense, Molinari is fighting for position underneath. She also has good hands and has been a trustworthy player to dump the ball down for easy layups. Molinari has a good mid-range jumper, and overall her skill set blends well with the slashing backcourt of [player_tooltip player_id="270726" first="Ava" last="Orlando"] and [player_tooltip player_id="266802" first="Hana" last="Skeary"]. [player_tooltip player_id="328962" first="Siena" last="Schaller"] - Valley Regional High/D4S - 5’7’’ - SG What jumps out at you when first watching Schaller is her length, speed, and lateral quickness. From the little I have seen of Schaller, I can tell she has the potential to be a difference-maker on defense. She slides her feet well, does a good job keeping the ball-handler in front of her and her wingspan is bothersome to the opposition. Schaller is also good at recovering on defense and closing out. I think that with her possessing so many tools to enhance her defense that the more I watch her and see what she brings to the table on the offensive side of the ball, Schaller can certainly make the rankings list next update. [player_tooltip player_id="267134" first="Emma" last="Felker"] - Dracut/Evolution - 5’11’’ - PF I saw Felker a couple of times over the summer playing with her Dracut teammates, and I liked the fit and the confidence she played with in those games. I like how Felker can stretch the floor with her outside shooting and open up the lane for Dracut’s aggressive penetrating guards and wings. Felker also showed good touch around the basket. Her progression in scoring consistency stands out, and I think she will be an impactful piece to Dracut come the winter season.
