Ashlon Jackson Ashlon Jackson 5'10" | SG Hardin Jefferson | 2022 State #22 Nation TX (Hardin Jefferson) 2022
Jackson was like a woman amongst girls at times and her WNBA whip around passes, her pull-up jumper from mid to long-range as well as attacking the rim, finishing after contact, all were on full-affect and it seemed like everything she did was effective. I think back to that 3rd grader and just SMH at what she’s become yet she falls into that “great” category I don’t drop all the time and what makes her great is she makes those around her better
Tia Mitchell (Cy Lakes) 2022
Mitchell is nowhere on my website or blog, that’s what the search bar is for yet at times, I want to head to bar begging rosters because it’s a disservice that whoever she player for in the club season did not turn it in, that’s why I stress it ain’t by winning, you win if you can play at the next level and she definitely can because she’s an explosive scorer, her pull-up jumper is very nice as she elevates and drops it with a hand in her face but she also applies solid pressure on the defensive
Dalanna Carter Dalanna Carter 5'6" | PG Barbers Hill | 2023 State #30 Nation TX (Lutheran North) 2023
Carter is just a scoring machine and her ability to drop it from Neverland, never ceases to amaze me but she’s also a highlight waiting to happen and her acrobatic finishes are just something to see. She handles the ball with ease, which enables her to create her shot under pressure and the variety of moves, the cross-over, the step-back, or the slight HEZ, just get her open whenever she wants almost anytime she wants to
Kaitlyn Elsholz Kaitlyn Elsholz 5'11" | CG Sandra Day | 2023 State AZ (Cactus Shadows Hs- Lady Nation AZ) 2023
Elsholz ain’t from around here but the Arizona star quickly showed me what she was, and this was before the game because she’s vocal and knows what she’s talking about, and listening to her speak with authority definitely got my attention yet her attacking and finishing literally with players hanging on her definitely kept it, this was on day 1 so day 2, the pull-up jumper had me drop the mic, okay my book, as she set the defender up so smoothly and just dropped it consistently
Tobi Ademuwagun Tobi Ademuwagun 5'11" | PF The Village School | 2023 State TX
Ademuwagun has gone from being a back-to-the-basket player to a legitimate scoring threat from outside and last year, the midrange was setting it off yet now, add the long-range because she’s constantly working to improve her game. She attacks powerfully and finishes acrobatically, after contact yet one more time, she’s a #BCSLock, I don’t contribute to the portal on my assessments, this young lady is a #Throwback and watching her BATTLE for the ball off the rim, oh my
