Flight Hankamp was certainly full of talent, but there was also another element to the event - Good old fashioned fun. The open run was meant to be a good time with good people, and it didn’t disappoint.
The players were broke into teams and given team names of airlines as a word play to the name of the run, Flight Hankamp. The teams kept track of their wins for the evening. Team Hawaiian Airlines ruled the night, going undefeated at Flight Hankamp: An Open Run. Let’s take a look at this talented team.

Copple impressed on many of fronts at the event. She showed the ability to catch and shoot from behind the arc as well as hit cutters with a dish and feed the post.
[player_tooltip player_id="230786" first="Bridget" last="Crombie"]
Crombie has a game that you just have to appreciate. First, the young lady is fierce and tough on the court. Crombie is also incredibly versatile, being able to match up with multiple positions on D and being a tough cover on offense.
[player_tooltip player_id="244311" first="Faith" last="Jungwirth"]
Jungwirth might be one of the most improved players in the state of Michigan. She had so many put back buckets that I lost count. Jungwirth also showed the ability to attack the rim with a free throw line drive.
[player_tooltip player_id="244227" first="Kate" last="Stemmer"]
Stemmer is going to put on a show this high school season. I don’t know that people really know what’s coming. She scored efficiently and pushes the pace with the pass up the floor.
[player_tooltip player_id="147743" first="Maeve" last="St. John"]
St. John needs, and deserves, to be recognized with the best guards in the state. She’s really a complete package. St. John is the type of 2 way player that a coach never wants to take out of the game.
[player_tooltip player_id="147748" first="Hannah" last="Toutant"]
I’ve always been high on her game and she showed me exactly why at Flight Hankamp. Toutant was a constant threat in the paint and really worked on the glass. She’ll be a huge plus in the paint this coming season.
Avery Vogel
Vogel was fun to watch at Flight Hankamp and she really took advantage of the event. She sent a message that was loud and clear about what kind of player she is and could be. Vogel is a key player to watch over the next year.
