The event was one of the many Expos events held in many states that PGH is active in, seeing hundreds of girls in the day. Some of the best players put on a show to watch. From a day that was drawn full of games, we will look at players that came out.
Corri Vermilya Corri Vermilya 5'8" | SG Loudonville | 2024 State OH 5-9, 2024, Guard, Loudonville High School
Vermilya plays the game the way that it is supposed to. She can shoot the basketball off the bounce. She does a good job using her strength and length. Working on her off the catch will add to her game. Vermilya dished the basketball well. She is easily one you can see has a good work ethic. Keep an eye on this unselfish kid.
Madison Greene Madison Greene 5'6" | PG Pickerington Central | 2023 State OH 5-6, 2023, Point Guard, Pickerington Central High School
A tough guard. She has good handles and finishes around the rim in a different fashion. With her strength, and speed she creates good space. During her games, I could tell she was a very coachable player and a leader. Greene is one to lock in on as she shoots it better. This young lady is trusting the process. She plays with passion and is a fierce competitor. Her game get’s better every time I see her.
Brooke Asher Brooke Asher 5'7" | SG Lakota East | 2025 State OH 5-7, 2025, guard, Lakota East High School
Asher has a good motor that shows when she is on the floor. She is a very crafty player. She showed good perimeter shooting. Asher is one to watch as she continues to play. Her passion shows in the way of her consistent hustle. She led on the court impressively with older girls.
Emma Fohl Emma Fohl 5'5" | SG Lakota East | 2024 State OH 5-5, 2024, guard, Lakota East High School
Fohl feeds the post and creates it for others. She does a good job finishing in transition. Working on her shooting is something I would like to see. She does good with the basketball in her hands. Her release and form look good. Fohl is a tough player that gives you everything. Her development in these next few years will be a sight to see.
Isabella Calloway 5-6, 2024, Point Guard, Archbishop Hoban High School
Calloway can shoot the three, get creative with scoring, and displayed some mid-range shooting. She is good at playing for the top of the key or the wing. With the development in her strength, she will have the ability to handle pressure. Calloway has a good basketball IQ. She has a bright future ahead of her. Her game will continue to elevate as she plays. I am excited to watch her this upcoming season.
Caraline Kernan Caraline Kernan 5'8" | SG Kettering Alter | 2022 OH 5-5, 2022, Guard, Archbishop Alter High School
A Guard that has good vision. She plays defense with awareness and a high-intensity level. Kernan brings a lot of positive to both ends of the floor. Her ability to shoot it and attack kept teams alert. She did a great job at handling the basketball as well as creating for her team. This last year she will lead her team.
