Lady Attack Elite hosted an exposure scrimmage last week. Here are some more of the standout 2023s. Lizzie Cohen | Chestnut Park | CG Cohen showed off her range shooting from deep. She made sure to find the gaps on defense to show off her shot. She hustles after loose balls not hesitating to dive on the floor after them. She showed off some nice ball fakes to open up her teammates for some points. [player_tooltip player_id="297204" first="Zahra" last="Douglas"] | Marvin Ridge | SF Douglas made sure to show off her stroke from deep. She can handle the ball efficiently bringing it up the court herself finding open teammates or taking it all the way. Her hands are always causing problems on defense deflecting the ball away from her opponents making it difficult for them to get anything going. Jamecia Huntley | Salisbury | SF Huntley makes aggressive moves to the basket driving the ball hard through contact. She didn’t need to be near the basket to score as she showed off her range. She ran the floor well being able to catch a pass in transition and shoot. She has great size already that will certainly be an asset for her teams. [player_tooltip player_id="221933" first="Madison" last="Young"] | Northwest Guilford | CG Young (pictured above) does well crashing the boards going after rebounds, especially on offense making sure to get second chances. She battles through contact to get some points scoring old fashioned three point plays, and she definitely doesn’t need to be close to the basket to score showing off her jump shot from all over.
