The summer has almost officially come to an end, and our content here at Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey is just heating up, especially with our new prospect lists.
In particular, the 2022 prospect list is officially out and we are going to be looking at that list once again in this article, specifically the No. 26-28 players in our Top 50.
No. 26: [player_tooltip player_id="319021" first="Anisha" last="Able"] - 5-11 PF, Barringer
For the third-consecutive season, Able averaged double figures, posting 12.3 PPG and 14.7 RPG as a junior along with 4.2 BPG and 2.2 SPG.
Her numbers are mind-boggling, but that’s been the norm for her as she averaged just over 6.0 BPG as a sophomore. On top of that, Able is more of a rebounder than a scorer, and that just adds onto how strong of a defensive player she is.
Without a doubt, this is one of the best shot-blockers in the state and we’re going to see just how much better she is going to be in her senior season with Barringer.
No. 27: [player_tooltip player_id="155466" first="Tiffany" last="Fischer"] - 5-7 SG, South River
For the first time in her high school career, Fischer averaged double-figures, putting up 16.1 PPG and just over 10.0 RPG, along with some spectacular numbers on the defensive side of the ball.
Fischer is just two three-pointers away from 100 in her career and is 45 points away from joining the 1000 point club at South River. The shooting guard has a really strong shot and picks her spots out well on the court.
What is going to stand out this season as a big key for Fischer is her ability to cause turnovers on defense. Whether that is through her shot-blocking prowess or stealing passes, she is going to have a big season for the Rams.
No. 28: [player_tooltip player_id="319022" first="Timaya" last="Lewis-Eutsey"] - 5-11 SG, Life Center
Lewis-Eutsey is an under-the-radar player in this class, but looking at what she was able to do with Life Center in the spring, she was clicking on all cylinders.
Playing in just nine games, she averaged 18.9 PPG, including four 20+ point performances and was an offensive scoring machine. To be able to put up that type of production on a consistent basis is incredibly impressive.
Now going into her senior year, Lewis-Eutsey’s key to success will be to be able to play a full season and the more often she’s out on the floor, that only bodes well for her immediate short-term gain. We’ll see how much she’ll be able to replicate that on the floor this season.
We continue our look at the top seniors in New Jersey in future articles, so look out for more content from PGH NJ.
