I know that coaches really like to be able to search out these players based on what it is that would make them fit into their squad and I hope that these superlatives will help them identify more prospects. Enjoy!
Sofi Woodson | 6-2 PF/C | Jones | 2024 | @sofiwoodson
Yes, I am starting the list of players with handles with a big. I first saw Sofi play last year at the PGH Top 250 and seeing her again this season was a revelation. I doubt it was strictly winning a state championship that did it, but she has come very, very far in just a year. She has always been a good scorer inside and a very good rebounder. In a year, she has learned to move with the ball at a level that makes her look like a guard out there – a very, very tall guard. I regret that we did not add her to the player rankings, to be honest, it was a mistake. In the next rankings, she will be most likely in the top-15. In my opinion, Sofi is a Division-I prospect.
Dadreanna Frost Dadreanna Frost 5'7" | PG Westmoore | 2025 State OK | 5-7 PG | Westmoore | 2025 | @DadreannaD
Our No. 23-ranked freshman is a tremendous point guard who can seriously handle the rock. The Super-16 All-Star has a very bright future ahead as she makes the transition to high school ball this season. She is a point guard in the Russell Westbrook mold who has good size, can slash her way to the rim, and can finish. She also gets her fair share of rebounds like Russ. I really enjoy watching her play especially because you know that you can count on her to go hard all game long. She is fun to watch one day soon she will be gracing the court of a college somewhere in around the country; until then, we have four great years of high school to watch her play!
Wrigley Adkisson Wrigley Adkisson 6'2" | PF Sapulpa | 2025 State OK | 6-1 F | Sapulpa | 2025 | @AdkissonWrigley
Speaking of bigs – and freshmen – who can handle it, Wrigley is a baller. It is going to be so much fun to see her out there on the court with all of the talent that the defending state champions will be putting out there. Adkisson is not your typical big – much in the way that Temira Poindexter Temira Poindexter 6'2" | PF Sapulpa | 2021 State OK was – in that she can handle the ball and shoot it. She is very fluid and smooth in her movements. Though she is clearly still learning, she is being coached by two of the best coaches in the game in Sapulpa’s Hall of Famer Darlean Calip and Oklahoma Swift’s Amber Mathurin. The sky is the limit for this outstanding prospect and with the coaching she is getting, she will be a Division-I player, without a doubt.
