Adkisson was one of the top performers all grassroots season. With her height, she doesn’t need a lot of space to let it fly as a spot up specialist. Especially with a quicker release, and a repeatable form that often makes every shot look like it’s going in. She also blossomed this summer with a good all around game, being very mobile and active for her height. Those traits allows her to make plays in transition and even help out as a rebounder/rim protector. The senior is set for a bigger role at Sapulpa this year, and for college will be headed out west to Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Wrigley is having a strong summer and interest is beginning to pick up on her recruiting. A tall 6’2 forward that can shoot outside, run the court like a 3 guard and has nice footwork in the paint.
Wrigley has received several offers already. I expect interest to increase as she is very versatile player at her height.

At 6’2 and long Wrigley the has size most coaches are looking for when it come when scouting a 3/4 position. A very versatile player that scored in the low post with a long turn around shot over the shoulder. The smooth outside shot causes the match up problem. This is where the versatility comes to play. Great foot work when facing the basket allowed her to drive to the rim or stop with a quick pull up that is hard to block because of her length.
On defense her footwork and length allowed to be able to switch on screen leaving defending a shooting guard. The ability to move the feet and length to contest the shot made it difficult for the shooter to get their shot off.
Wrigley has drawn interest and offers from several schools. I am expecting the interest to pick up after the next live period

Sometimes it’s most interesting to see a prospect when an aspect of their game isn’t clicking. In an early Saturday afternoon game, the sharpshooter could not buy a three pointer. But Adkisson was undeterred and the wiry forward proceeded to battle inside. She ran the floor for hard for transition opportunities, while also cutting smartly and hard for in the half court. Her finishing around the rim was solid, but in this particular contest there were a couple misses that were the difference between a good and great game. Add in some connector type feels on offense, her long arms working as a rim deterrent and it’s easy to see why her recruitment picked up this spring.

Game Watched: Team Griffin Cobbins vs Meanstreets
The 918 forward has had a strong spring based on the college interest she picked up. And it was easy to see why when watching this contest. She has legit size to be a factor in the post and a textbook looking jumper and form. She knocked down multiple threes early, then showed the ability to attack a close out, two foot stop and drain a 10 footer. Size, skill and understanding of her role should see Adkisson continuing to add to her colligate offers.

The 918 forward was recently offered by Southwestern Oklahoma State. She has ideal height for a versatile forward presence, and her Hudl page is filled with multiple three point performances from Sapulpa’s run to the Class 5A State Title game. In these videos, she shows textbook “hand in the cookie jar” shooting form as a reliable, off the ball floor spacing threat. With her combo size and shooting, expect for Adkisson to continue to impress this summer before stepping into a bigger role next winter for the Lady Chieftains.

Wrigley is another player who will bring a championship pedigree and a lot of school and club experience to the Chieftains this season. Her size makes her stand out, but it is the different things she does with her over six-foot frame that make her stand out. First of all, she can shoot it. She isn’t relegated to “just” playing the boards. But, if you need a rebound, she can definitely get you one. She is quick and versatile, so Wrigley can guard just about anyone. Though I didn’t get to see her against BA, she is a known commodity and I’ve seen her plenty this summer and throughout her career. She is a genuine college prospect and I would expect big, big things from her this season under the continued tutelage of Coach Calip.
