Player Rankings Update: 2022 New Additions Pt. 1
13. 6-2 PF [player_tooltip player_id="311536" first="Bryana" last="Hardy"] – Lovejoy
It’s a high debut for [player_tooltip player_id="311536" first="Bryana" last="Hardy"], a bouncy high-motor post that has started to draw a ton of attention from Mid-Major schools. Hardy runs the floor well and can score on the catch. She’s a quality rim protector with a good nose for the ball. Bryana’s footwork in the low post has improved each year as she expands her offensive arsenal.
46. 5-11 PF [player_tooltip player_id="311542" first="Ryin" last="Tillis"] – St. Francis
[player_tooltip player_id="311542" first="Ryin" last="Tillis"] is a sturdy forward that can do damage both inside and out. She has a soft touch from the perimeter, able to stretch out defenses with her shooting. Tillis bangs inside and must be accounted for on the glass.
47. 6-0 F [player_tooltip player_id="311544" first="Jasmine" last="Jones"] – Carrollton
Jones projects as a combo-forward. She can use her athleticism to take bigger opponents off the dribble on slashes to the hoop. Jones is an active rebounder and defender. She can guard multiple positions on the floor. She has seen D-I and D-II interest.
55. 5-7 SG [player_tooltip player_id="305892" first="Catherine" last="Alben"] – Grayson
Not many guards match [player_tooltip player_id="305892" first="Catherine" last="Alben"]’s quickness and athleticism in the open floor. She jumps passing lanes and gets deflections that she easily turns into run out layups. Her activity helps her disrupt offenses. Alben has shown flashes of an improved outside shot.
66. 5-8 PG [player_tooltip player_id="305891" first="Natalie" last="Herrin"] – Piece County
Already a two-time Region Player of the Year, [player_tooltip player_id="305891" first="Natalie" last="Herrin"] is a dual-sport standout that is starting to focus more on basketball. Herrin is tough, a physical guard that gets downhill and draws fouls. She’s got an unorthodox release, but can score from the three-point line and in off the dribble. Herrin has good hands defensively and rebounds well for a guard.
69. 6-1 C [player_tooltip player_id="302948" first="Tamori" last="Plantin"] – Buford
Schools looking for a reliable post presence has checked in on [player_tooltip player_id="302948" first="Tamori" last="Plantin"]. Receiving some D-I interest, Plantin is a strong center that rebounds well and can score through traffic inside. She’s a sturdy defender that can alter shots without fouling.
