Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the members from the Lincoln U. squad from Saturday’s first day at the Sweet Hoops Fall League at Lift for Life Academy in St. Louis.
[player_tooltip player_id="299155" first="Taylor" last="Montgomery"] (Pattonville): A solid 2023 5'5" point guard who scored a team-high 13 points in the opening game of the league. She is a fundamentally sound player who used his strength and quick first step to get into the lane and score in traffic. She's a steady ball handler and passer.
Kali Whitfield (Whitfield): A 2025 point guard who has quickness and good offensive skills. She was good on the dribble penetration and had a nice runner in the lane. She could also knock down the open 3-pointer. She also played with a lot of hustle at both ends.
[player_tooltip player_id="207151" first="Carolyn" last="Foster"] (O’Fallon, IL): An athletic 2024 wing player who excels in the transition game. She's a skilled ball handler who can hit the mid-range jumper very well. She is also a solid defensive player and rebounder.
Kori Seals (Lift for Life): A 2022 guard who has good quickness and it was on display on the defensive end. She was a solid on-ball defender who applied excellent pressure.
