The power forward position in Washington’s 2022 class has some pretty good depth with 5 girls slated to play at the Division 1 level. Our database shows four girls that have given verbal commitments to play D1 basketball. Each of the committed forwards are highlighted below.

The four D1 commits above all have one thing in common and that is their "motor". Each of these future college players are relentless on the boards, bring some physicality to the paint and play with great effort all around. Lake Steven High School’s [player_tooltip player_id="27956" first="Cori" last="Wilcox"] is the epitome of the player characteristics mentioned above. Wilcox finishes well with either hand and has improved in her touch to finish around the basket on the first attempt. She is outstanding on the boards and throws smart, strong outlet passes to her guards. She is a big pickup for the Eagles of EWU. [player_tooltip player_id="27926" first="Catelyn" last="Deaver"] and her twin sister [player_tooltip player_id="27925" first="Alyson" last="Deaver"] will both be attending a newly minted Division 1 program in Dixie State. Catelyn brings grit and muscle to the floor and Alyson is a nice mixture of physical play and finesse. Mead High School’s [player_tooltip player_id="185649" first="Parker" last="Brown"] is one of the, if not the best athlete of this bunch. She gets off the floor quick, she’s strong and runs the floor well for a 6 footer. Brown is expected to attend and play for Air Force.
