Commitment Update!

Over the past couple of months, there have been a number of commitments announced by 2022 athletes. Here are some of those commitments. [player_tooltip player_id="158313" first="Ruby" last="Williams"] - Cornell Williams has served as one of the main ball handlers for Cuthbertson these past few seasons, and she is going to take that versatility to Cornell next year. She does well setting herself up for a deep shot, and she can drive the ball all the way to the hoop finishing strong at the rim. On defense, she uses her length to grab steals and block shots showing off her strengths on both ends of the court. [player_tooltip player_id="260171" first="Katie" last="Houpt"] - Denison Houpt has been showing off her ability to shoot from deep with South Mecklenburg. She does well using her shot as a threat since she shows great fakes to drive around her opponents. She does well seeing the gaps on the court where she can fill in those lanes to score a jump shot or drive the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="285932" first="Jada" last="Brigman"] - UNC Asheville Brigman is a strong athlete showing off her ability to be productive no matter where she is on the court for Olympic. She can handle the ball effectively and show off her jump shot. She does a great job getting inside and even battling as if she’s a post player having to play through contact. She’s a tough defender, too, making sure no one gets by her. [player_tooltip player_id="260170" first="Mary" last="Spry"] - Catawba Spry (pictured above) has been dominant in the paint for years with Jesse Carson, and she has perfected her post moves knowing how to move efficiently to score some points. She’s expanded the floor with her game showing off a nice shot from behind the three point line. She does a great job rebounding for her team and taking advantage of these for points on the offensive side of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="219898" first="Emily" last="Hege"] - Wingate North Davidson is certainly going to miss this sharp shooter after next season. She moves well with the ball using fakes to drive and show off nice floaters. She does a great job relocating after passing the ball making sure she is constantly finding ways to contribute on offense. Her ability to read her opponents makes it easy for her to cause problems on defense. [player_tooltip player_id="253896" first="McKenna" last="Snively"] - Christopher Newport Snively will be playing with North Raleigh Christian for her senior year taking with her a great shooting ability to cap off her high school career. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates, and she fills the gaps herself finding ways to score. She doesn’t shy away from contact when driving the ball, and she is persistent going after rebounds. [player_tooltip player_id="116902" first="Emma" last="Fox"] - Radford Fox has been clogging the paint for Newton-Conover and plans to continue doing that for her senior year. She tracks the ball well knowing how to block shots making it difficult for anyone to score near the basket. She’s aggressive when going after rebounds, and she does a great job putting them right back up on the offensive side of the floor.
