Enjoy the list of girls and also the content from the camp. It was another well run event with many girls who will play at the next level and showcase their skills to college coaches as they did at this event. To the staff that ran the event, kudos to you and your event staff for being so attentive and working a class act event in the state of Arizona. Thanks for the hospitality, it was really appreciated.
2024, 5’9, SG, Rosary Academy HS, Allison Clarke Allison Clarke 5'10" | SG Rosary Academy | 2024 AZ – Allison shocked and awed all of the scouts with her tenacity and relentlessness to win games for her team. She is very skilled handling the basketball and is a master at getting teammates the rock for easy scores off good passes. She runs the point guard position to perfection in this event and is one of the most consistent scorers we saw at the event from all three levels on the floor. This girls is gonna get better and better as she goes.
2024, 5’10, SF, Xavier College Prep HS, Sarah Nakamura Miller – She was another girls as I watched her play, have so much confidence in her game that most could not deal with her on any side of the ball. She could run the floor and finish, she could pass the ball with perfection, she was a good defender and one of the most dominant players in the camp. She stood out to the scouts in attendance and those watching thru the live streams online, coaches are gonna be impressed with this one, she is a keeper and a genuine prospect for schools inquiring.
2024, 5’6, CG, Franklin HS (Elk Grove), Olivia Nicolas Olivia Nicolas 5'6" | PG Franklin, (Elk Grove) CA. | 2024 AZ – Olivia stood out to us for sure with her hustle and relentlessness to score for her team in the games we watched her play. She is a mid-size guard that is capable of getting to the rim, can shoot the ball with some consistency and can run the point guard well for her team. She defends well for her team and was a vocal person at times on the floor.
2024, 5’10, SF, Notre Dame Prep HS, Ava Pautz Ava Pautz 5'11" | SF Notre Dame Prep | 2024 State AZ – Ava is what you call a defensive specialist for her team, she is very willing to guard the best ball handler on the opposing team. She is very capable of handling the ball, but prefers to be in the scoring situation as a shooting guard, she has good size for her age and is relentless on the defensive end of the floor. She will get better with time, I promise you that with this talented young girl.
2023, 5’7, CG, Los Osos HS, Taylor Rosado Taylor Rosado 5'7" Los Osos | 2023 AZ – Taylor is very quick and agile on the floor for a point guard, she is shifty if we had to give it a name, she can handle the rock with perfections and is very skilled at getting to the rim and finishing even through contact. She is equally a good defender and an active rebounder on the boards which is very impressive at her size. She can sprint down the floor with a couple of dribbles and finish on you without you even touching her or give her teammate a great assist to score. This kid is special and will continue to improve for the better each year. Definitely a college prospect in my opinion.
2025, 5’3, PG, Xavier College Prep HS, Lucy Sanford Lucy Sanford 5'3" | PG Xavier College Prep | 2025 State AZ – Lucy is a small guard that plays with a big heart when she is on the floor, she is tenacious and one of the toughest things on the court when she plays. She runs the point guard spot well and can get teammates involved on the court, but she is also a decent scorer in my opinion as well. She did many good things for her team in this camp, she defended well, she scored and she also had to rebound and do other task for her team to have success.
2022, 5’0, PG, John F Kennedy HS, Melanie Castellon Melanie Castellon 5'0" John F Kennedy | 2022 AZ – Melanie was another small guard who stood out for her team, not in the way most would, but with her confidence and effort on the floor, she stood out to me as a player. She is quick and shifty on the floor, she is tough and focused when playing the game we all love called basketball. She did all the right things for her team to help them with the success in the camp, she was worthy of a write up in my opinion.
2023, 5’10, SF, Sandra Day O’Connor HS, Amaya Washington Amaya Washington 5'10" | SF Dream City Christian Prep | 2023 State AZ – Amaya is long and wirey for a forward which makes her such a good shot blocker at most times. She is a good scorer from all three levels on the floor that we saw, cause she has a sweet jumper and she showed it alot at the camp. She is an aggressive rebounder and can defend the ball with tenacity and focus, which makes her a problem for anyone on the opposing team. Amaya has great size and uses it well in the paint, she can seal and score or turn around for the short jumper to finish you off. She is definitely a prospect and coaches take heed about this one.
