Layla is tough to stop when she attacks from the wing with her strength and finishing ability around the basket and she plays great on-ball defense against opposing ball-handlers. <strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id="335733" first="Kylee" last="Norkus"], 5’10” Guard, Neuqua Valley</strong> Norkus is a great athlete who can succeed at any of the Guard positions with her ball-handling skills and ability to score from every level. Kylee is a terrific shooter from beyond the three-point line and constantly runs the floor and makes high effort plays to give her team extra opportunities. <strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id="265966" first="Kendell" last="Williams"], 5’9” Guard, Stevenson</strong> A high impact Point Guard with an extremely high ceiling, Williams is constantly making plays with the ball in her hands. She uses her strength and athleticism to attack off the dribble and finish at the rim, while also using her high IQ and court vision to set her teammates up for easy buckets. Kendell is a tough on-ball defender and willing rebounder on both ends of the court. <strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id="265972" first="Ava" last="Blagojevich"], 5’8” Guard, Maine South</strong> Blagojevich is a strong Combo Guard who possesses a wide range of skills on the offensive end of the floor. Ava can play on or off-ball with her ball-handling skills and ability to get in the lane to make plays or knock down shots from beyond the three-point line. <strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id="264888" first="Grace" last="Nelson"], 5’9” Guard, Altamont</strong> An intriguing prospect from downstate Illinois, Nelson proved that she deserves to be mentioned among the best in her class against solid talent from around the state. She is a great athlete who is smooth with the ball in her hands. Grace is a natural playmaker with her skill and high IQ and ability to knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. <strong>2023 [player_tooltip player_id="148140" first="Erin" last="Henry"], 5’7” Guard, Example Academy</strong> Henry is an all-out hustle player who always gives the extra effort to give her team an advantage. She is a reliable ball-handler who can attack off the dribble and finish strong at the rim. Erin consistently plays outstanding on-ball and help defense and often turns steals into easy transition points. <strong>2024 [player_tooltip player_id="335799" first="Meegan" last="Fahy"], 5’6” Guard, Maine South</strong> A quick, playmaking Point Guard with a ton of skill on both ends of the floor, Fahy had a number of scouts talking about her consistent play at the Expo. Meegan is very smooth with the ball in her hands and was regularly attacking the lane and finishing at the rim among taller defenders. <strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id="335789" first="Anna" last="Campanelli"], 5’9” Guard, Huntley</strong> Campanelli is an extremely talented Combo Guard who uses her slick ball-handling skills to create shots for herself and her teammates. Anna shoots the ball well from beyond the three-point line and uses her length and athleticism to get to the basket and finish high over the defense.
