This was a 2-day event that featured some of the best high school girls basketball players from Arkansas and neighboring states such as Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. This camp had players go through a skill development segment that featured ball handling, finishing, and shooting. The players then participated in situational 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 to showcase their skills, abilities, and basketball IQ.
The following list of players are some of the best high school players in the state of Arkansas you should already know.
Savannah Scott Savannah Scott 6'4" | C Conway | 2023 State AR | 2023 | Post | Conway High School
Savannah is one of the best post players in the state of Arkansas. She already holds several D1 scholarship offers. Despite being a post player she possesses a few guard skills that will help her at the next level. She was limited in her play on Sunday due to an ankle sprain but the time she was on the floor you felt her presence. She uses her size on the low block for position and gets into her drop step or baby hooks.
April Edwards April Edwards 5'9" | CG North Little Rock | 2023 State AR | 2023 | PG | North Little Rock High School
April is a point guard that plays strong and physical. If she was being defended by a smaller guard she would go straight to the post. She also displayed her ability to attack the rim from the perimeter, make plays for other players, and apply pressure when guarding the ball.
Cheyanne Kemp Cheyanne Kemp 5'8" | CG Morrilton | 2023 State AR | 2023 | PG | Morrilton High School
Cheyene played with a good pace that was different from the other players. She never rushed when she caught the ball. Her poise allowed her to play quickly but not be in a hurry as she made plays. She handled it well, gave great effort on defense, and displayed good vision by finding open teammates.
Keller Bigham | 2022 | Post/Forward | Warren High School
Keller did a good job at the camp. Out of all the bigs, she did the best job defensively understanding positioning, angles, and how to use her length to contest and block shots without fouling. Offensively she showed her ability to make open shots, put the ball on the floor to make straight-line drives, and make on-target passes.
Jordan Marshall Jordan Marshall 5'11" | SF Central | 2024 State AR | 2024 | Wing | Central High School
Jordan is one of the top players in the state for the class of 2024. If she continues to develop she could be one of the top players on a national level. She has the size and athletic ability to impact the game in a variety of ways. She can attack off the bounce, get her teammates involved, shoot the jumper, and defend.
Samyah Jordan | 2025 | PG | Conway High School
Skill-wise there weren’t many players more skilled than Samyah at the camp. She breezed through the ball handling, showed the variety of ways she could finish at the rim, and displayed improvement with her shooting. When they competed she played unselfishly but did show some flashes of being able to create off the dribble and hit the mid-range.
Emerie Bohanon | 2025 | CG | Conway High School
Emerie is a good athlete also displayed her skills during the skill development segment of the camp. During the 3 on 3 and 4 on 4, Emerie locked up on defense. She made it tough for her opponent to get what they wanted off the dribble. Offensively she showed poise and patience. Not forcing anything, she attacked gaps in the defense for drives to the rim.
