My terminology may be different at times however it’s like I shave, against the grain, and it works for me because it helps me, place players, in different categories as my petabyte of memory is always looking for progression so here are some players I’ve seen before, many multiple times

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331930" first="Erin" last="Love"]-5’11 PF (Bellaire HS)</strong>
Love falls into that "I love what I’m seeing" category as she steadily is progressing each time I see her and to be honest with you, she’s on the verge of doing some serious damage so let’s start with her frame. She’s strong, powerful, and agile, she has good timing to block shots as well as rebounding on both ends, yes she goes after the ball
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332920" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/112-Emikele-Hawthorne.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331920" first="Emikele" last="Hawthorne"]-5’9 SF (Jordan HS)</strong>
Hawthorne caught my eye during the Prep Girls Hoops circuit as I saw potential the numerous times she was in front of me and showing I am clairvoyant, well in this, she has added more muscle to go with her athleticism and she is turning into a terror as she goes after everything off the rim, she plays the passing lane and her defense, in and outside the paint was nice. She also finishes strongly, either on putbacks or off the dribble
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332919" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/108-Holly-Frith.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331905" first="Holly" last="Frith"]-5’8 SG (Cinco Ranch HS)</strong>
Frith is heady, plays within herself, and understands how to get hers in the flow. She handles the ball in traffic, she sees the floor and she makes the correct passes yet she also showed she could create her shot and attack the basket as well as finish with either hand but then she dropped the deep one, nice upside
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332917" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/107-Madison-Keenan.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331921" first="Madison" last="Keenan"]-5’8 PG (Jordan HS)</strong>
Keenan is also heady and sees the floor very well. She makes pinpoint passes in traffic while being tightly defended and she understands how to control tempo either setting it up or pushing the ball in transition. She also did a good job of keeping the defender off guard as she attacks off the dribble with either hand and finishes the same way, with either hand
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332943" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/148-Rebecca-Meyer.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331943" first="Rebecca" last="Meyer"]-5’11 PF (Klein Cain HS)</strong>
Meyer shows me something new every time I watch her and from that initial sighting showing her playing the passing lane and having good timing on defense to block, alter and deflect shots, what else is new. Yes, she still those things but I enjoyed her attacking the rim strongly and finishing after contact not to leave out dropping the jumper. She rebounded on both ends and scored off putbacks
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332884" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/24-Alana-Trail.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331945" first="Alana" last="Trail"]-5’2 PG (Shadowcreek HS)</strong>
Trail lived up to her surname by coming from behind defenders, trailing, to knock the ball away or steal it yet her athleticism made her enjoyable to watch on the defensive end because she definitely was "on the ball" baseline to baseline. She also showed she could score off the dribble with a nice HEZ to get the defender off guard and she created the jumper under pressure
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332909" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/99-Mykayla-BeMent.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331923" first="Mykayla" last="BeMent"]- 5’6 G (Morton Ranch HS)</strong>
BeMent plays taller than she is and watching her outrebound taller opponents was nice because she understands positioning. She also understands the game, handles the ball well while being defended, and showed she could also hit teammates in transition but her setting the defender up to take it off the dribble was also nice, so was the pull-up
<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-332904" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/09/94-Lauren-McCray.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" />
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331931" first="Lauren" last="McCray"]-5’5 PG (Cinco Ranch HS)</strong>
McCray was seen by me in multiple games and in each one she showed the "pull-up" which she knocks down with a hand in her face. The mid to long-range was solid, yes she created her shot and those outside shots gave her options galore as she attacked the rim but on top of all that, her court vision and defense were very good and she dives on the floor for loose balls
