Travis Lady Jets: Top player evals & analysis

<p style="text-align: left;">With the high school season coming u,  i wanted to highlight some of the top players from the Travis lady Jets who will make impacts on their High school teams.</p> Amani Boxdell, 2023, 5’4 Guard Fairfield H.S. (Fairfield, CA) Boxdell is a Tremendous Guard who can shoot lights out and has an unbelievable work ethic! Great catch and shoot shooter with limitless range. She puts a lot of pressure on the defense with her knock down shooting. Was named All-MEL Honorable mention last season and had a breakout Live period playing point guard. Brooklyn Giles, 2022, 5’8, Guard/Forward, Rodriguez H.S.(Fairfield, CA) Gilesis is an  Athletic player who can guard 94 feet. She loves to guard, has great hands and IQ which leads to her reading the passing lanes very well.  She prides herself on defense which makes her a valuable piece to her team. Giles gets to the paint a lot and finishes around the rim with both hands well.1st team All-MEL last season thanks to her scoring ability and relentless energy on defense. Ale Ibarra, 2022, 5’11, Post, Vanden H.S. (Fairfield, CA) Ibarra is a Traditional back-to-the-basket post player who has various moves to score down there. What stood out most is her amazing footwork when making post moves and attacking from the wings. Her sweet spot is attacking from the high post and she guards the Pick and Roll very well.All-MEL Honorable mention last season and currently holds an offer from University of Antelope Valley (NAIA). Christina Edwards, 2022, 5’5, Guard, Wood H.S. (Vacaville, CA) Edwards Loves to hustle and play great defense. Makes a huge impact by guarding, taking charges, and doing the little things that her team needs to win. Likes to pick up full court to apply pressure to her opponent. Her energy can change a game and is contagious, and she was All-MEL Honorable mention last season. Selai Niu, 2022, 5’10, Forward, McClatchy H.S. (Sacramento, CA) The 2022 forward is very good player that’s hard to stop with her size. Handles the ball very well and demonstrates her high basketball IQ. She scores in many ways but loves the mid range game. Shoots the three with confidence. She is a tireless worker on both ends and is a rebounding machine. (San Francisco, CA)A High Academic young lady with a quick first step attacking the basket. Despite her size, will defend very well and hustles for everything. She gives it her all on the court which rubs off to her teammates. A ball of energy that gets after it. Maggie Azevedo, 2023, 5’5, Guard/Forward, Pioneer H.S. (Woodland, CA) Solid Guard/Forward who can be utilized in any situation and rebounds well. Hustles every possession, takes charges and always diving for lose balls. Constantly talking to her teammates keeping them in engaged. Stretches the floor her ability to knock down the three point shot. Alicia Johnson, 2022, 5’5, Guard, Rodriguez H.S. (Fairfield, CA)- Johnson really impacts the game with her long range shooting making it tough for defenses to help off her. Has a nice release  on the shoot and good foot work on the catch and shooting. She can step back from the line and shoot it from deep. when attacking she displays a very nice floater in the lane. &nbsp;
