Kenidi Glover Kenidi Glover 6'0" | PF Duncanville | 2025 State TX -5’10 F/C (Duncanville)
Glover has just taken it to another level, like BONECRUSHER and more importantly me, she is “Never Scared” and doesn’t mind the physicality of playing inside because she can give it just like she can take it and watching her score with players virtually hanging on her is happening in whatever setting or event I catch her in
Kaylinn Kemp Kaylinn Kemp 5'9" | CG Duncanville | 2025 State TX -5’8 G (Duncanville)
Kemp is smooth with the ball, she can zig-zag through traffic in the open court and drop the jumper or she can use her crossover in the set to score off the dribble, hit her teammates, or just drop the pull-up yet she also does a good job defensively and played the passing lane numerous times
Chandler Caver-5’8 G (Hardin Jefferson)
Caver is silently making a lot of noise as I tweeted out “The Baby has arrived” yet she ain’t no baby and here’s why. Her poise under pressure is just standing out like the time I saw her barely in middle school going completely off against high school players but she attacks and finishes after contact and her jumper, mid to long-range, is already doing damage, to opponents
Arianna Jennings-5’9 G (Killeen)
Jennings is long and athletic, her energy level stays the same no matter what, and watching her attack the rim from multiple angles and finish after the lick is becoming even more common yet she also uses her length and athleticism on defense to apply pressure yet seeing her playing the passing lane and attacking after that is nice
Melanie Hodges-5’11 F (Langham Creek)
Hodges is even stronger than I realized and watching her battle for rebounds on both ends is a very good sign, well so are her putbacks after contact yet her “hands and footwork” have gotten better and she is showing some nice moves around the basket but her upside combined with strength and wingspan are impressive
Abby Seitz-5’6 G (Vista Ridge)
Seitz seized the opportunity and watching her handle the ball under pressure and control the tempo was nice. She plays within herself, doesn’t force anything, and sees the floor. All of that combined with her upside tells me a lot
Tatum Ott-5’6 G (Westlake)
Ott blended in nicely yet her eagerness and desire to learn was apparent just watching her absorb everything her coach explained to her but these are all THROWBACK things that will lead to BIG things down the future as she’s nowhere near the finished product yet she will be creating major issues probably before the season ends
Honorable Mention
Shawnta Thomas-5’7 G (Killeen)
Kierston Russell-5’9 F (Duncanville)
Toti Echols-5’7 F (Boswell)
Emily Bouaphangh-5’5 G (Boswell)
Kianna Wormly-5’9 F (Vista Ridge)
Sayler Bourland-5’6 G (Vista Ridge)
