<p class="p1">Charlotte Hoops Challenge was a prime event with the top teams in the Charlotte area competing against one another. <b> </b>Here are the players of the game for each matchup over the two day event.</p>

<p class="p1">Moss (pictured above) was a tough defender picking the pocket of her opponents, and these steals turned into two points going the other direction.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She makes sure people work for their rebounds scrapping for the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She has such strong moves with the ball selling fakes one direction to create space from her opponents.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She can certainly set herself up for some nice shots around the arc.</p>

<p class="p1">19 points (3/4 from deep)</p>
<p class="p1">Wilson scored right off the jump making a nice cut to the basket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She doesn’t hesitate to dive on loose balls, and she gets her hands in on the deflections to cause problems for her opponents.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She cuts hard to the basket making herself a big target for the pass and bucket.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She has some nice fakes she uses to get her defender off their feet and out of the way of her shot.</p>

<p class="p1">Gough is excellent sealing off her opponents and moving around the defender to make sure she stays a big target for the entry pass.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She showed off her ability to battle through contact with some old fashioned three point plays.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She follows shots well to rack up some boards.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She does well coming off a pick and roll play catching the ball and knowing exactly how to score.</p>
<p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="201849" first="Chandler" last="Brooks"] | Providence Day | G | 2023</b></p>
<p class="p1">17 points // 11 rebounds // 5 assists</p>
<p class="p1">Brooks sees the court so well finding open teammates filling the lanes on the other end for some fast break points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She handles the ball well finding the gaps and using spin moves to show off her finish at the rim.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She even follows shots to put back up some putbacks herself.</p>

<p class="p1">El knocked down a deep three to start off the scoring for her team.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She tied up the game late in the first half with a big three pointer, too, making sure her opponent knew her team wasn’t giving up by any means.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She runs the floor well being available in transition, and she battles through contact no matter what.</p>
