Conference Preview: MAAA

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri continues its preseason conference previews with a look at the Mineral Area Athletic Association. There are good teams and quality players in both the small school and large school divisions of the conference.   <h4>The Starting Five</h4> [player_tooltip player_id="317538" first="Kamryn" last="Winch"] 6’3" North County: A 2022 forward who is the top low post threat in the conference. The Maryville University recruit is a three-year varsity starter who uses her size and strength to score and rebound inside. Maddison Nelson 5’10" Kingston: A talented 2022 wing player who has been a prime-time scorer since she entered the program as a freshman. She was an All-State selection last season who should surpass the 2,000-point mark in her career this season. The Baker University commit is a capable scorer and playmaker. Skylar Sweeney, Farmington: A talented 2023 point guard who excels at both ends of the court. She is a good playmaker on offense and a ball hawk on defense. Jade Roth 6’0" Farmington: A 2022 forward who is an excellent multi-sport athlete.
