Dandra Thomas Invitational Knockdown Shooters

Shooters shoot and coaches love players that can shoot the ball. The Dandra Thomas Invitational featured some really talented players that could flat out shoot the basketball. The following are players that can’t be left open or they will make you pay. Here are some of the best shooters from the first night of the invitational. <strong>Kate Denton | Wing | 2024 | Little Rock Christian</strong> Kate is a shooter that keeps the floor spread. The defense must know where she is at all times, especially in transition. When the ball is swung to her she is always locked and loaded and ready to shoot. <strong>Katelyn Harris | CG | 2022 | LR Christian</strong> Katelyn is another catch-and-shoot threat from the three-point line for Little Rock Christian. If you don’t get a hand up or force her off the three-point line you could be in trouble. <strong>Savannah Rangel | Wing | 2023 | Bentonville West</strong> Savannah is a three-point threat. She’s another player that you must locate in transition and in the half-court. She was always ready to shoot. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="304697" first="Jaiden" last="Thomas"] | Wing | 2022 | Conway </strong> Jaiden is one of the best shooters in the state. She loves to shoot the three in transition and always looking to find gaps in the defense in the half-court, especially off a teammate’s penetration, to get the open shot. <strong>Josie Williams | PG | 2023 | Conway Christian</strong> Josie can make the catch and shoot three at a high clip in transition or in the half-court. She was the most complete shooter in the tournament with her ability to shoot off the dribble in mid-range, threes, and free throws. <strong>Maysa Willis | Wing | 2023 | Bentonville West</strong> Another shooter for the Bentonville West team that can spread the floor with her ability to make shots. Maysa made two three-pointers in the second half. <strong>Laynee Tap | Wing | 2022 | Bentonville West</strong> Laynee was a threat from the three-point line. Did a good job at catch and shoot three in the first half of the game by making 2 three-pointers.
