Raven Preston Raven Preston 6'0" | CG Quality Education Academy | 2022 State NC | Quality Education Academy | 2022
Preston finds ways to score no matter what it takes. She drives the ball well and battles through contact even scoring off balance. Her ability to dive after loose balls grabbing the possession and her constantly moving on offense makes her a threat all over the court. She follows shots well grabbing rebounds, too. Elon is going to enjoy having this weapon on their roster next season.
Anaya Harris | North Raleigh Christian | 2023
Harris (pictured above) drives the ball efficiently getting all the way to the basket or drawing defenders towards her to create space for her teammates. She goes after loose balls making sure she has the ability to gain possession. She follows shots grabbing rebounds as well. She blocked shots effectively on defense making it difficult for her opponent to get by her.
Taylor Barner Taylor Barner 5'7" | PG Panther Creek | 2024 State NC | Panther Creek | 2024
Barner is a great ball handler controlling the tempo of the game for her team. She pushes it up the court, and she makes smart cuts even without the ball ready to catch a pass and score. She is so quick, and her opponents have difficulty keeping up with her. This was effective when the opponents were trying to press her as she easily blew by them.
Olivia Tucker | Panther Creek | 2024
Tucker made some nice passes inside getting her teammates the ball, especially late in a close game against Julius Chambers. She was sneaky grabbing the ball from her opponents and pushing that up the court. As someone who can play any of the guard positions, she is certainly someone to keep your eyes on as she is dominant on both ends of the court.
