Taylor had yet another dynamic performance at the Super Scrimmage. The 4 star recruit certainly played like one as she is a nightmare to defend. She has incredible basketball speed and she gets to wherever she wants to go on the floor. She is able to control the pace of the game and can play the half court game or full court. She seemingly never gets tired and will always get a good look at the basket. The Memphis commit is sure to do well at the next level as she is already playing the game at a High Major pace.

is going into her last AAU season, and she is certain to make the most of it riding the high after winning the state championship this year. She is so quick handling the ball, and she knows how to find a lane and exploit it with a split second’s notice. She is certain to knock down her shot from deep which she can do off the dribble or from a pass. On defense, she’s tough, too, stripping the ball from guards and exploding up the court for some fast break points.

is strongly making her case of being the #1 PG in North Carolina following an incredible 20 point performance in the title game. She slipped inside past her defender for a nice up and under scoop shot in the first quarter and that play help define how the rest of the game would go. Her ability to get by defenders is second to none. She reads the defense extremely well and is able to get to the basket at will. As a team, Lake Norman had as good of a defensive game plan as you can have against her and yet she still was able to weave her way through traffic and score. She was also was able to find teammates for easy shots after the defense collapsed.

The 2024 guard has one of the quickest first steps you’ll see in the state. Taylor can flat out fly and her speeds keeps the defense on its heels and she does a good job setting up her teammates. She does a good job of catching opponents out of position and using it to her advantage to slip in for the score. Keep an eye on the matchup between Taylor and Lake Norman’s Addison Sirriani who some consider as one of the best defenders in the state.

Taylor Barner was making nice moves with the ball and showing off her shot. She doesn’t always have to handle the ball as she flashes to the block going up for the pass and is ready to score some points. She has a nice floater she shows off after driving to the paint losing her defender in the process.
