Region 6-AAAA Preview: SENIORS #RecruitThePalmettoState

Region 6-AAAA has plenty of talent year in and year out. Let’s take a look at this region consisting of teams from the Pee Dee down to the Grand Strand right here. It’s time to #RecruitThePalmettoState <em><strong>Prep Hoops Predictions: </strong></em> 1.South Florence HS - The Lady Bruins have plenty of talent this season to make a region run after adding a few transfers to the mix. 2.North Myrtle Beach HS - The Lady Chiefs lost in the Class 4A State Championship Game last season. The Lady Chiefs defeated Darlington HS 3 times a season ago. 3.Hartsville HS - The Lady Red Foxes will surprise some teams this season under Head Coach Justin Johnson. The Lady Red Foxes finished (6-5) last season. 4.Darlington HS - [player_tooltip player_id="173096" first="<strong>Sommer" last="Joseph</strong>"] is the Preseason Region Player of the Year here for the Lady Falcons. 5.West Florence HS - The Lady Knights will look to get back on track on short season last year. 6.Myrtle Beach HS - The Lady Seahawks only 5 games last year (4-1). 7.Wilson HS (Florence) - The Lady Tigers finished (3-5) last year. &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="173096" first="Sommer" last="Joseph"] - Darlington HS - Prep Girls Hoops Preseason Region Player of the Year (pictured on front)</strong> Joseph plays down in the paint for the Lady Falcons. Sommer gave a early pledge to Queens University of Charlotte (NCAA D2) for next year. Joseph does her best work from side to side down in the post. Sommer can play with her back to the basket and post up. Albany has a knack and willingness to score the ball from the perimeter. She also excels in in the spring time on the track team. Wilson will be the going factor this season for the Lady Bruins to make a deep run into the playoffs. Dawson averaged 7.9 ppg last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="269100" first="Adaiah" last="Vereen"] - North Myrtle Beach HS </strong> Vereen was instrumental in the Lady Chiefs run to the State Championship Game last year. Zybreayziah a left-handed forward brings good energy picking up rebounds on the glass. Shillae has been bothered by some injuries the past seasons and might not join the team until after the New Year. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175357" first="Zaria" last="Dennis"] - Myrtle Beach HS </strong> Dennis plays around the cup for the Lady Seahawks. Zaria can play from the short corner and knockdown the elbow jumper from time to time. &nbsp;
