The big guard finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 5 steals and 2 blocks. She’s a solid player that likes to get downhill and finish with either hand. Haban is good at scoring through contact and likes to play physical around the rim. She does a good job drawing fouls. Carley has the size to survey the defense and deliver assists.
<strong>2024 5-5 PG [player_tooltip player_id="352715" first="Reya" last="Johnson"] – Statesboro</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="352715" first="Reya" last="Johnson"] is a sharp sophomore. She plays bigger than her listed size. Johnson is athletic, able to change speeds and directions to keep defenders off balance. Reya can create her own offense off the bounce. She hit a side step three and implemented a floater and pull-up jumper. She tallied 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 5 steals.
<strong>2024 5-6 CG [player_tooltip player_id="352716" first="Kaylee" last="Finley"] – Statesboro</strong>
The signature look of [player_tooltip player_id="352716" first="Kaylee" last="Finley"] and her glasses will be one Griffin won’t soon forget. The sophomore finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. Finley has a physical build and is aggressive with the ball. She’s comfortable shooting off the dribble and buried two threes.
<strong>2022 6-1 F [player_tooltip player_id="210367" first="Nadiyah" last="Byard"] – Griffin</strong>
The defensive specialist used her length and athleticism to contribute 3 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. She’s a versatile defender with great switchability.
<strong>2024 5-6 PG [player_tooltip player_id="352717" first="Zamiyah" last="Hosley"] – Griffin</strong>
In need of some more pop from the backcourt, Zamiyah Holsey looked good as a starter. She hit a floater in the lane and made some nice reads as a passer. When she attacks the defense, she keeps her head up and can find the open man. Her ability to handle will help get [player_tooltip player_id="154597" first="Leah" last="Turner"] more open looks off the ball.
