Texas Schools Ranked Top 25 Nationally

I was glancing at the scores on Max Preps to see how teas in the Houston area did and I was surprised to see Desoto at the top of the list. Not because they shouldn’t be there, I really lobbying for several Texas teams with the same people years ago whose exact words were "they don’t play anybody" and they need to travel to Arizona for the TOC. Well, Duncanville was one of those squads, led by Olympian Ariel Atkins, and they couldn’t do it because it was going on the same time their Sandra Meadows was being played which was like me inviting you to my party and attending someone else, so that made absolutely no sense since the teams they had listed were beaten by teams I lobbied for had DROVE so whatever, all that matters is that I was right and both squads are in the Top 25 Defending 6A (UIL) State Champion Desoto opened up with a convincing win against Atascocita and I’ll have a chance to catch them later this week Lady Gander Tip-Off as that amazing front line of Tionna Herron Tionna Herron 6'3" | PF DeSoto | 2022 State TX , Amina Muhammad Amina Muhammad 6'3" | PF DeSoto | 2022 State TX , and Sa’Myah Smith Sa’Myah Smith 6'4" | PF DeSoto | 2022 State #14 Nation TX as well as the versatile Ayanna Thompson Ayanna Thompson 5'10" | PF DeSoto | 2022 State TX as well as scoring in droves threats Jiya Perry Jiya Perry 5'11" | SF DeSoto | 2022 State TX and Jamia Harris Jamia Harris 5'7" | SG DeSoto | 2022 State TX plus Michayla Gatewood Michayla Gatewood 5'8" | PG DeSoto | 2022 State TX showing the game actually starts at the 1, it will definitely be a thrill for me as I’ve watched most of them since elementary school yet my week will actually start off in the Austin area Thursday for the BeYouTiFul Classic as they have a star-studded list of teams there including State Runner-up 4A (UIL) Hardin Jefferson featuring PGH Texas #1 in the class of 2022 Ashlon Jackson Ashlon Jackson 5'10" | SG Hardin-Jefferson | 2022 State #22 Nation TX (Duke) Duncanville will also be in attendance, they have been the most impressive team I have PERSONALLY seen this season, that district race between them and Desoto is going to be, how can I word this, epic and be it live or via live stream, I will definitely be there, BTW, Pantherette star Kiersten Johnson Kiersten Johnson 6'3" | C Duncanville | 2022 State TX recently committed to Oklahoma so I’ll catch them on opening day as well I plan on catching as many out of town teams that I can at the event, local teams Manvel, Memorial, Langham Creek, and The Village will be in attendance so I’ll probably stay at Bowie all day, 4 venues are being used and Friday I’ll play catsup, ketchup, whatever, hold the fries because this is going to be hot and salty, stay tuned
