Turkey Feast Top Performances

The Turkey Feast Classic had some really good individual players. The classic was highlighted by Mikaylah Williams, the #1 player in the class of 2023 and [player_tooltip player_id="309616" first="Chloe" last="Clardy"] the #40 player in the class of 2023. Both players put on a great show, but they weren’t the only ones who came to showcase their skills. The article features some players that really stood out for their team in both games over the weekend. <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="309616" first="Chloe" last="Clardy"] | CG | 2023 | Conway</b></p> <p class="p1">All of Chloe skills were on full display. Defensively she was aggressive with her ball pressure. She played the passing lanes well by getting deflections and steals that lead to easy buckets in transition. Offensively she showed the many ways she can score the ball. She attacked off the bounce, shot the jumper, and got to the rim. Chloe also made some great passes off penetration around the basket. The highlight for Chloe over the weekend was the huge night she had vs Mikaylah Williams led Parkway team. Chloe had things cooking that night as she scored a game-high 38 points.</p> <p class="p1"><b>Mikaylah Williams | CG | 2023 | Parkway</b></p> <p class="p1">Mikaylah is not the #1 player in her class by mistake. The 6’0 point guard can do it all and from multiple positions. She was tough to defend whether she had the ball in her hands bringing it up the floor or when she would catch on the wing. A natural scorer she also was a willing passer that got her teammates involved. She made two great passes late in the Friday game to help her team seal the victory. Despite her skill set what was really impressive was her poise, patience, and pace she plays with. She averaged nearly 25 points a game going against the top two teams in Arkansas while being double team all weekend.</p> <p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="305324" first="Kiaya" last="Davis"] | CG | 2024 | LR Central</strong></p> <p class="p1">I enjoyed watching Kiaya play. She’s a player that plays within herself and never tries to do too much. She plays with a good pace and knows when to be aggressive and when to be a playmaker. She can handle it, make good decisions, get to the rim, and is a respectable shooter. Defensively she applies good pressure on the ball without excessive fouling.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="304688" first="Jordan" last="Marshall"] | Wing | 2024 | LR Central</b></p> <p class="p1">Jordan is an athletic wing that played multiple positions. She ran the point and held it down on the wing. Defensively her athletic ability allowed her to guard a quick athletic point guard on the opposing team. Offensively she loves to get to the rim. She does a great job of using her size and strength to play through contact. She has shown a lot of growth and maturity in her game since last season.</p> <p class="p1"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="306130" first="Clemisha" last="Prackett"] | Post | 2023 | West Memphis</strong></p> <p class="p1">Clemisha was undoubtedly the most athletic player on the court. She was actually the most athletic player in the Turkey Feast Classic. She completely dominated the interior on both ends of the floor. She aggressively went after every rebound. Her aggressive nature can change the course of the game. Clemisha had several putbacks, she made post moves on the low block, and made short jumpers. Defensively she limited her opponent to one shot by grabbing the defensive rebound. She also blocked and altered several shots at the rim.</p> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="304731" first="Parris" last="Atkins"] | Wing | 2022 | Bryant</strong> Parris an athletic wing player that every coach would love to have on their team. I’ve seen a few games of Parris over the summer from last season and I can tell she’s been in the gym improving her skills. She knocked down some catch and shoot three-pointers, she finished in transition and made her free throws. Defensively she can be a nightmare for her opponent. Her athletic ability allows her to play the passing lanes well to get steals and deflections. <strong>Aniya Price | Wing | 2024 | West Memphis</strong> Aniya has a solid skillset. She can have a positive impact on the game from either side of the ball. She has the size and athletic ability to cause problems on defense and she has the skills to be a problem for her opponent on offense. Defensively she has a strong presence making the offense work for everything they earn. Offensively she can make the spot-up three-pointer or attack the rim in transition. &nbsp;
