Week 1 standouts from the Junior class.

Western Reserve 5’11 Combo Guard Jr. Arianna Myers Avg: 20 PTS, 5 STL, 3 AST, 2 REB,1 BLK Myers plays with passion she picks and choose her spots on the floor and is in the right spot at the right time to fill up a stat sheet in a hurry. Play’s the passing lane perfect, and good off the pick. Scoring mid-range and she will not force the issue she always seems to be where the ball is at her game progresses game by game. North Canton Hoover 6’1 Forward Jr [player_tooltip player_id="354092" first="Grace" last="Craig"] Avg 16 PTS, 6 RBD, 1 STL, 1 BLK Craig has been scoring in variety of ways, fast break, mid-range jump shot and has been very accurate. With a motor that’s non stop Craig is all over the hardwood, she has been scoring with ease she is a hard worker and should not be passed on. She should have a stellar junior season. Northwest 6’2 Center Jr [player_tooltip player_id="270506" first="Lily" last="Bottomley"] Avg 13.5 PTS, 11 RBD, 3 STL,1 AST, 2 BLK Bottomley height bothers the offense even with her wing-span, she has good hands, and can finish around the basket with ease, not afraid of getting the ball and pushing it on a fast break, attracts more than one person trying to box her out, she is definitely a force in the paint. If you leave her open on the wing or the top of the key she will knock it down ,patient player, she runs the floor great. Definitely top player in her class. St. Vincent St. Mary 5’10 Combo Guard Jr Dyllan Metcalf Avg 13pts, 4 REB, 1.5 STL Metcalf can put up some points in a hurry from deep, nice form an release not afraid to take the big shot with the seniors on her team She will also get in the paint for rebounds to give her team more chances to score, she runs the floor hard also. Be on the lookout for this young guard for the next year. Western Reserve 5’10 Combo Guard Jr [player_tooltip player_id="216100" first="Angelina" last="Agresta"] Avg 10 PTS, 4, REB, 5 STL, 3 AST Agresta underrated player under the radar, who can scores quietly but you know where she is on the defensive side with her pressure on the ball and in the passing lane will, good defender with solid hands, if your looking for a player who will give it her all and play solid defense with minor mistakes watch for Agresta. St. Vincent. St Mary 5’5 Guard Jr Jazmin Torres 11.5 PTS, 2.5 REB, 4 STL, 2 AST Torres small fast guard but feisty, plays tough defense get’s in the passing lane and can finish at the basket, from what I’ve seen she hasn’t rushed her shot, she let it come to her and make the play, she will be a player to watch this season and next season remember her name.
