I have been playing with this in my head for a few weeks as I kept thinking about players that have transferred and I’m sure I’m missing some yet these names just popped out at me because all are on PGH Texas Top 100, all are #D1Locks and with the exception of one, the sensational sophomore, I’ve seen the duo of juniors perform some magic on the court multiple times so here’s the quick hitter

Johnson has added more mass and her powerful finishes both off the dribble as well as on putbacks just stood out to me because she relishes the contact as it doesn’t faze her yet that deceptive first step from the wing sets everything up for the talented junior who transferred from Tompkins to help make Houston Christian on the shortlist of the teams to beat in their private school division, Southwest Prep as she joins a star-studded cast featuring fellow juniors Madison Williams, [player_tooltip player_id="96127" first="D’Asia" last="Thomas"] and [player_tooltip player_id="134031" first="Jalayah" last="Ingram"], all next-level players including #D1Locks
[player_tooltip player_id="96125" first="RyLee" last="Grays"]-Pearland
Grays is one of the most powerful finishers in the state, I can say that without seeing everyone in Texas because I’m truly an expert at this, and watching her progression on the court from the 5th or 6th grade has truly been a joy. Her finishing with players literally hanging on her back always makes me smile because of not the way she continuously does it, but the fact that she enjoys it so that, as well as her rebounding, she goes after the ball off the rim, can I drop #THROWBACK because that is a lost art, and after winning a state championship at The Village as well as a runner-up, I can only imagine what Pearland would be had [player_tooltip player_id="134034" first="Janae" last="Tucker"] not torn her ACL
[player_tooltip player_id="161562" first="Gwendlyn" last="McGrew"]-Pasadena Memorial
McGrew is no joke, you have multiple camps promoting players in their "clique" as being this or that however please remember unlike them, I have no agenda and unlike them, I actually know what I’m talking about but nevertheless, after playing multiple positions before high school and doing the same as a freshman at Dobie, McGrew moved over to Pasadena Memorial and is definitely continuing to show that everything I’ve said about her is real. She’s just under "the magic number" which is 6’0 yet she can run the 1-5 at this level, effectively and since she has a college-ready from, the talented sophomore is raising eyebrows galore. She can drop the three, the midrange, and score off the dribble showing an explosive first step, with either hand and after contact but her spins in transition have me reaching for the Excedrin because they are college-ready as well
