Grace Crocker | Parkwood | G | 2022
17 points // 3 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 block
Crocker made sure she was known as the shooter by the other team knocking down five in the game from behind the arc. She did well sliding into the openings, and it didn’t matter if these shots were contested or not. She was constantly in the way blocking the openings on defense making it harder for her opponents to get near the basket.
Natalie Axtell | East Forsyth | G | 2022
21 points // 1 rebound // 1 steal
Axtell (pictured above) was draining them from deep throughout the game. She did a great job catching the ball and creating her own separation from her defender to show off her shot. Her hands were active on defense knocking the ball away from her opponents as they tried to get around her.
Zahra Douglas Zahra Douglas 5'9" | SF Marvin Ridge | 2023 State NC | Marvin Ridge | SF | 2023
19 points // 8 rebounds // 4 assists // 1 steal
Douglas came out strong in the second half showing off her post moves. She had her back to the basket and scored with ease as she turned to face the hoop. She was crashing the boards on both ends and using offensive rebounds to get her some points even battling through contact for some old fashioned three point plays.
Jade Washington Jade Washington 5'5" | SF Parkwood | 2023 NC | Parkwood | G | 2023
15 points // 6 rebounds // 4 assists // 2 steals // 1 block
Washington came out hot showing off her ability to score at all three levels. She drove hard to the basket and shot from behind the arc. She also got inside to grab some rebounds using these as second chances to score some points, and she pushed the ball up the court with ease finding her teammates for their own points.

Page came out with a vengeance being a nuisance on defense grabbing steals and deflecting passes. She was constantly running the court in transition to score some points or find her opponents cutting to the basket. She didn’t shy away from contact making sure she had a chance to score some points from the free throw line.
Nevaeh Farmer Nevaeh Farmer 5'4" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2023 State NC | North Meck | G | 2023
12 points // 1 rebound // 3 assists // 7 steals // 1 block
Farmer is one of the better on ball defenders in Charlotte making it difficult for guards to get by her at all. She anticipates well knowing where a ball handler is going to move and knocks the ball away or jumps into passing lanes to grab the steals. She pushes these up the court with ease for her own points or finds her open teammate. She certainly doesn’t shy away from contact underneath the basket, and she converts well from the free throw line.
Amaya Glenn Amaya Glenn 5'5" | PG Reagan | 2023 NC | Reagan | G | 2023
12 points // 1 rebound // 3 assists // 2 steals
Glenn knows how to drive hard to the basket weaving in and out of her opponents. She did a great job taking advantage of a defender that tried to jump a pass getting around them to the basket. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates for their own points. Her defense was a terror coming out in the second half causing deflections and grabbing a steal that turned into an and 1 advantage as she attacked the basket.
Ella Chepul | Marvin Ridge | SF | 2024
11 points // 5 rebounds // 2 blocks
Chepul was ready to score as soon as she stepped on the court driving inside the paint to get her points. She ran the floor well making sure to fill in the lanes to score in transition. She stepped outside the arc and showed off her range shooting the ball, too. Her ability to crash the boards and use her height to grab rebounds was an asset.
Reese Fritz | Marvin Ridge | G | 2024
10 points // 1 rebound // 1 assist
Fritz came out hot shooting the ball from behind the arc in the second half cutting from baseline to baseline to find the open areas. She did well showing patience when letting a play develop in order to get the best opportunity to put the ball through the hoop for herself or her teammates.
Jocelyne Grier | North Meck | G | 2025
13 points // 3 rebounds // 1 assist // 2 steals
Grier came right in to score five points on back to back possessions. She has a nice shot from behind the arc, and she drives well to the basket even on the tough baseline shots making a nice floater. Her IQ is already at a high level finding ways to contribute effectively as a freshman.
