Well-rounded player that rebounds, defends and scores when needed. Hit a three, scored on a cut and had a reverse layup. York does the dirty work and can defend 2-4. She had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
<strong>2022 5-7 G [player_tooltip player_id="311541" first="Timber" last="Gaither"] – Cherokee Bluff</strong>
Heated up as the game went on. Primary ball handler. Likes to attack the basket. Scored on a pair of floaters and turned two steals into transition layups. Hit a pair of three-pointers. Has a strong frame which helps her rebound and play physical defense. Finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals and 1 block.
<strong>2025 6-2 C Taliah Gaither – Cherokee Bluff</strong>
Great size. Recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds and 3 blocks. Did a good job finishing inside. Still getting used to the speed of the game, but effective and high upside.
<strong>2024 5-6 G Kaitlin Cook – Cherokee Bluff</strong>
Ball was always in her hands in the fourth quarter. Scored all eight points in the frame and went 4-7 from the foul line attacking the paint. Anticipated passes and defended aggressively to earn 5 steals.
<strong>2024 5-11 F Lara Turner – Union County</strong>
Interesting long forward. Spent time both on the block and on the perimeter. Hit three mid-range jumpers. Can put the ball on the floor. Solid athlete that can defend guards and posts. Had 11 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
