Scout Notes: Arkansas Updated Prospects

Arkansas high school basketball is in full swing. There has been a number of players that are off to a good start. As I try to provide coverage on as many players as possible, here are some players that have caught my eye in person or through evaluating their games online. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="306096" first="Carolina" last="Hoffman"] | Wing | 2022 | Marmaduke High School</strong> Carolina drives the ball strong to the basket and has the ability to pass in traffic. You can’t leave her open behind the three point line because she can knock down the shot. She is also good in transition and can make the play for herself or for a teammate. Carolina is also solid defensively as she applies good on ball pressure. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="306785" first="Heidi" last="Robinson"] | Wing | 2022 | Marmaduke High School</strong> Baylie works well out of the high post. She has good footwork off the dribble, can make the jumper, and makes free throws. When she attacks off the dribble she showed she can score in traffic, uses both hands around the rim and she rebounds well. <strong>Baylie Joyner | Forward | 2024 | Marmaduke High School</strong> Baylie is a strong rebounder who can also score from the block. Whenever there is penetration she always get in position for the pass and has her hands ready. She plays strong and physical enough to play through contact and finish the play. <strong>London Robinson | Forward | 2023 | Maumelle High School</strong> London possess the ability to score on the low block. She’s aggressive on the boards and can push the ball in transition. She can attack off the dribble and make the mid-range jumper. Defensively she’s also good at providing help defense. <strong>Sidni Middleton | Point Guard | 2025 | Vilonia High School</strong> This freshman point guard is doing a solid job of running the show for her team. She’s a steady point guard that is poised and never panics. She runs the team well, is a solid defender, and as the season continues to progress and she gets more comfortable she will be able to make more plays for herself and her teammates. <strong>Addi Womack | Wing | 2022 | Vilonia High School</strong> Addi did a really good job of running the floor and keeping the floor spread with her ability to shoot the three ball. Teams have to really keep her accounted for at all times. She can make the spot up three off penetration or run her defender off screens to get open. <strong>Bailey Sims | Post | 2023 | Vilonia High School</strong> Bailey is a 6’0 post player with good hands in traffic. She can finish around the rim and even put the ball on the floor and attack from the high post. She crashes the offensive boards hard and is a good passer in traffic.
