Dakota Nap, 5’11, Post, Hazen, C/O 2024
Dakota is an excellent all-around contributor. As a post player, she is able to take the ball out on the perimeter and creates a lot of opportunities for herself and her teammates with her impressive ball skills. Her feel for the game is tremendous for a sophomore and it seems like she’s only going to get better each game. Nap torched Bellevue’s defenders and posted 12 points, 8 boards, 5 assists and 1 block in the win. Her impact on the game was evident whenever she was on the floor.
Brooke Smith, 5’9, Forward/Guard, Hazen, C/O 2022
As one of the more experienced players for Hazen, Smith was all over the place during Saturday’s win over Bellevue. I wasn’t able to get her rebound numbers, but I am confident she broke into double digits in that category while being an excellent glue piece around her teammates. Brooke is a very active player, a good cutter and passer, and holds her ground well on the defensive end.
Olivia Conklin, 5’9, Forward, Hazen, C/O 2022
Olivia is the perfect piece to have around the rest of the Highlanders crew. Her shooting ability was on full display against Bellevue. She has great form as a spot-up shooter and can create shots on her own within the flow of the offense. She had a pair of 3s on Saturday en route to a 12-point performance.
