2022 is approaching and providing a reminder that the class of 2022 prospects will be graduating in the next six months. As 2021 comes to a close, it is a great time to look at some of the top available seniors from around the state. This is part one of a two part series.
2022 5’9 CG [player_tooltip player_id="27932" first="Aniyah" last="Hampton"] (Hudson’s Bay HS) is a strong combo guard that excels as a slasher and scorer. Hampton is a good athlete and played well at the PGH WA Showcase. A recruitable prospect that will help some college upon graduation.
2022 5’7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="27930" first="Mya" last="Hatchett Groce"] (Pasco HS) has been lighting it up in her senior year with Pasco High School. Groce is a steady ball handler, decision maker and on ball defender. She is the top available point guard in Washington’s 2022 class.
2022 6’0 SF [player_tooltip player_id="27955" first="Jadyn" last="Watts"] (West Seattle HS) has one of the higher ceilings of all the prospects still available. Watts has a smooth shooting stroke from the midrange and three line. She has outstanding length and she is a quality athlete.
2022 5’11 SF [player_tooltip player_id="27960" first="Colbi" last="Zorich"] (Inglemoor HS) is probably the top hustler available in the senior class. Zorich also has skill as a passer, slasher and rebounder. She is capable of playing multiple positions on offense and she can defend guards and wings comfortably.
