Jadyn Watts Jadyn Watts 6'0" | SF West Seattle | 2022 State WA , 6’3, Post, West Seattle, C/O 2022
Jadyn is an all around player and has a great feel for the game. At 6-foot-3, she is an engaged defender in the post and communicates very well on the floor. She can rip down boards even being challenged by multiple players and push the ball down the floor effectively. In a matchup at home against 4A Skyline, she scored 17 points in a variety of different ways, and got a lot of friendly bounces due to her soft touch around the rim and has a nice looking fall-away jumper.
Lauren Wright Lauren Wright 5'6" | CG West Seattle | 2023 WA , 5’6, PG/SG, West Seattle, C/O 2023
Lauren Wright Lauren Wright 5'6" | CG West Seattle | 2023 WA is a great player to have on your roster. She can handle the ball and brings a nice lefty shooting stroke with a compact release. She seemed to be in the right spots on offense against visiting Skyline High on Saturday, where she scored 10 points. She can stay under control while getting to the basket and finishes well with the left hand.
Mira Lee, PG, Skyline, C/O 2023
Although the jumper wasn’t falling too often for her on the road against West Seattle, Mira played nearly the entire second half as the Spartans tried to mount a comeback. She can control the pace of the game very well from the lead guard spot, and her jumper was falling in-and-out on most attempts. The quick release is there and her shots could have easily chosen to fall in instead.
Ciera Jorge Ciera Jorge 5'3" | PG West Seattle | 2022 State WA , 5’5, PG, West Seattle, C/O 2022
Ciera is a pesky on-ball defender. At 5-foot-5, she is speedy and can be a pest against other guards and was able to get a few poke-away steals once the opposing Skyline ballhandlers advanced into the frontcourt. On offense, she plays well off the ball and has a high arching shot. She drained three from deep on Saturday.
Gianna Shaw, 5’10, Guard/Forward, Seattle Prep, C/O 2025
Shaw really stood out as the only freshman on the Panthers roster for come spurts during Prep’s big 66-11 victory at Rainer Beach on Friday night. She had a few moments in the second half where she showed a lot of potential. Already listed at 5’10, Gianna can hit catch-and-shoot 3-pointers and has great ball skills for a freshman. She dumped off a few nice passes to her teammates for easy buckets while being able to see over the defense and knows how to thread passes around defenders.
