Hailey Unger Hailey Unger 5'7" | CG Arcanum | 2022 State OH , 5-8 2022, Arcanum
The backcourt duo at Arcanum proved to be too much for the previously unbeaten Dixie Greyhounds, with Unger showcasing her improved game. The D2 recruit showed her solid range from behind the arc with consistency and was good with a midrange game. She possesses good on-ball defensive skills and turned mistakes by her opponent into points. Moves well without the ball and gets into position to score. (feature photo above)
Madelyn Fearon Madelyn Fearon 5'6" | CG Arcanum | 2022 State OH , 5-9 2022, Arcanum
On the other side of the backcourt, Madelyn showcases her solid leadership skills as a good floor general with good offensive and defensive presence. She has very good range and is able to slash and score in the paint. Very good basketball IQ with good course awareness and distributes the ball well. Good handles with both hands, can create well.
Molly Isaacs, 5-7 2022, New Lebanon Dixie
She showed some nice movement in her game while also being a perimeter threat from around the arc. She is averaging nearly 8 points per game for a team who has started fast out of the gate until they ran into Arcanum in a league game. She has nice leadership skills and continuing to be the senior leader she is expected to be.
Olivia Trusty, 5-9 2023, Bellbrook
I got to see Bellbrook twice last week and was so impressed with Olivia from all aspects of her game. She showed me the ability to play anywhere on the floor, not only can she play up top, she is strong enough to drop down in the paint and score. She is a smart player, uses the pick-and-roll well and can finish. Her game will continue to grow and will continue to see her stock rise in the rankings.
Ashley Frantz, 6-0 2023, Bellbrook
I talked to a couple of college coaches at a Bellbrook game last week, and both of them raved about Ashley’s game. She is a strong physical presence with finesse around the rim. She is able to contribute in many ways, she has good hands and is able to use her length as a weapon. Ashley also has good range and runs the floor in transition.
Kerrigan Calhoun Kerrigan Calhoun 5'10" | SG Tipp City Bethel | 2023 OH , 5-10 2023, Bethel
She continues to be an offensive threat for the Bees, and when she gets hot from the three, she can open up a game for Bethel. As she continues to improve the other aspects of her game, I expect her production to increase. Good free throw shooter, not afraid of contact, can play through it.
Maren McCallister Maren McCallister 5'11" | CG New Hope Christian | 2023 State OH , 5-11 2023, New Hope Christian Academy
She is off to a great start to the season and continues to improve. I love her intensity and aggressiveness as she does a strong job in the paint with good active hands and footwork to score around the basket. Establishes position in the paint, good catch and shoot player. Defensively she is fundamentally sound and can create problems for her opponent. She is averaging nearly 24 points and 13 rebounds per game in the first quarter of the season.
