<p class="p1">The Battle of the State Invitational was held on Saturday.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Here are some of the players who were showing off their talents in more than one stat category.</p>

<p class="p1">Diaz contributes in all areas of the game.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her specialty this game was grabbing steals and pushing them right up the court to score herself or find another teammate cutting to the basket for their own points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She does well moving herself to make sure she can get the best pass to her teammates.</p>

<p class="p1">11 points - 17 rebounds - 10 assists - 1steal</p>
<p class="p1">Preston (pictured above) continues to show why she is a future Division I athlete at Elon.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She fills her various roles with high efficiency crashing the boards for rebounds when she needs to and filling the lane when she doesn’t need to handle the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She pushes the ball up the court and finds her open teammates for their own points as she draws the opponents towards her.</p>

<p class="p1">Richmond was great on the press for her team knocking the ball away and grabbing steals to push right up the court for some points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She did well drawing her defenders to her to open up the lane for her teammates to score their own points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She has a nice floater she uses to score up and over her defenders.</p>

<p class="p1">Powell is strong inside using her height to grab the entry pass and score.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She didn’t shy away from contact, and she can convert well from the free throw line.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She showed off a nice spin move in the paint battling through contact for some points.</p>
