A lot of players can score the basketball. That doesn’t always result in wins or adequate productivity. The prospects below put up timely shots at a solid rate. Of course, some of these players will be traditional forwards or centers. Regardless, they put up timely shots and win ball games for their respective teams. Many of the names and programs below have solid winning records. [player_tooltip player_id="349372" first="Fenishka" last="Bertho"] - North Miami 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="349372" first="Fenishka" last="Bertho"] is shooting at a 61 percent clip while averaging over 18 points per game. It’s signed, sealed, and delivered when the 6-foot-4 center gets the ball near the basket. Bertho can score over her opponent by simply backing them down. Her methodical push towards the basket is hard to stop. Luciana Picasso - Lourdes Academy 2024 Luciana Picasso has the best statistical mark in Miami-Dade County. The 6-foot forward is shooting 59 percent from the field while averaging over 15 points per game. Furthermore, she has only three games below 50 percent. In her four team losses, Picasso scored a combined 79 points and went 36-for-66 (55 percent) from the floor. Point being, she has gotten things done nomatter what side of the scoreboard Lourdes Academy has been on. The Bobcats are 13-4 overall so I think they’re doing okay. Adena Webster - Miami Pace 2024 Adena Webster has some versatility at forward or guard. The 5-foot-8 prospect is averaging 17 points per game while shooting 54 percent from the field. Webster scored a current season-high of 31 points on 12-of-17 from the floor against Cardinal Newman. Moreover, she went 3-of-5 from deep against the Crusaders. Therefore, Webster can extend and score from just about anywhere. Tamia Coleman - Palm Beach Central 2024 Tamia Coleman has done a nice job for the Broncos. The 6-foot-2 captain is averaging 11.3 points and 9.9 rebounds per game while shooting 53 percent from the floor. In ten of her 12 double-figure outputs, Colman shot 55 percent or better in eight of them. The other two she still scored 17 and 21 points. Overall, Coleman has had a nice season. Amanda Kaplan - David Posnack Jewish Day (Davie) 2026 Amanda Kaplan is a player to watch in the future. Kaplan has averaged 13.6 points per game while shooting 52 percent from the floor. In addition, she has gone 18-of-39 (46 percent) from deep. She can shoot a bit and has plenty of time to develop her game. [player_tooltip player_id="166162" first="Kendra" last="Bentley"] - Santaluces 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="166162" first="Kendra" last="Bentley"] is shooting 52 percent from the field as a guard. The 5-foot-8 prospect is averaging 28.6 points per game with two bad shooting performances. Bentley scored 29 points against Spanish River (11-3) and went 10-of-17 from the floor. From deep, she is a respectable 36 percent. Bentley has been one of the best shooters/scorers in the country. She is a threat to score 30 or more points every single night. By the way, Bentley is also averaging about six boards, four assists, and four steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="219941" first="Madison" last="Aguilera"] - Gulliver Prep 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="219941" first="Madison" last="Aguilera"] is a good shooter/scorer for the Raiders. The 5-foot-4 guard is averaging nearly 21 points per game at a high percentage. Against Miami Country Day, Aguilera scored 17 points and went a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the floor. Watch out for her long range ability as well. Aguilera went 5-of-6 in that game against the Spartans.
